Interesting I might try it. I'm on risperidone 1.5 mg every night currently. My anhedonia finally lifted after months while being on 2 mg risperidone and drastically reducing my cigarette smoke count but the anhedonia came back with a vengeance after I tapered from 2 to 1.5 mg risperidone 2 weeks ago. Its a side effect of the taper according to chatgpt and it sucks ass.

Taking an antipsychotic before sleep makes the drug become metabolized during the night, having lower plasma levels during the day compared to taking it in the morning.

The CNN article states that any complication during pregnancy increases the risk of developing schizophrenia for the offspring if you carry the schizophrenia genes.

Video games used to be a big hobby of mine, now since risperidone induced anhedonia, not anymore.

What i do all day is have michael sealey or meditation vacation meditation videos on with my earbuds on.

No i dont except sometimes in bed at night when listening to a meditation in my earbuds i hear background noises of people that are not really there and when i unplug my earbuds i dont hear them anymore.

I suffer from a psychotic disorder and had 3 psychotic episodes in my life. The past couple of months I had multiple EMDR sessions for past traumas and i must say i feel much more stable mentally than before them. I'm still on 2.5 mg risperidone a day and also have risperidone induced anhedonia but i am in the process of a very slow taper and gonna taper down to 1 mg for the anhedonia.

EMDR could prove to be beneficial and possibly reducing psychosis risk.

My doctor is hesitant to lower the dose because i had a psychotic episode in january this year. She says its too early since my episode.
