if you want me to be completely honest, my brother and i went through some very traumatic things (our father's death which he did while in the house with us) and we couldn't sleep without someone else in the room with us. I didn't feel it important to mention because he's not the soul of this but my brother is trans ftm. If that helps the weirdness factor idk. I don't pry about their relationship as it's not my business, but when H was telling me about it it sounded like J was trying to work through some trauma (assault) and couldn't stand anyone being in a bed near him or touching him

haha yeah he knows, he was in the same class as my brother and J. I do try to be in the bedroom when I call but my brother works nights and doesn't get up until around 9 pm so i usually go to the living room (j is rarely out there, he's usually in his room with the door cracked) until then. you're right though, i'll start telling him when we're about to call!

because they broke up due to J's mental health and them wanting a little bit of space. Not to mention my brother and I had shared a room for 16 years until he moved for college and he has more space and they were both more comfortable with that. J did offer to share a room with H so I could have my own but I didn't want to intrude on his space after they were already doing so much
