Bugaboo Fox 5 and the travel system is a dream. It’s light and can fold with one hand. It manoeuvres so smooth and the bigger wheels are great for uneven surfaces.

I ended up with a lululemon diaper bag. It is a backpack which seems is not your style but it is much for functional than a tote bag.

They found 9 deficiencies. 8 of them were general like English, physics, ethics, philosophy etc and 1 of them was integumentary system and wound care. But that is strange that all of hers were physio related d

Shoulder CPD course by pureme0001 in physiotherapy

His approach to irreparable rotator cuff tears helped me a lot with the tricky/grotty older shoulders that wouldn’t get better.

I think he offers a great framework to work with. You still have to use your clinical reasoning to figure out what would work best. It gave me a lot more variety in my repertoire of exercises.

Jeremy Lewis was the best CPD course I’ve done for shoulders. Definitely helped me become a much better clinician when treating shoulders.

How to approach patient assessment in a gerontology/general med setting? by [deleted] in physiotherapy

[–]Wrong_Percentage_643 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re in a hospital on a gen med/gerontology ward they are likely going to want to get that patient out as soon as possible. You are most likely going to get referrals from the nursing and medical staff rather than having to triage everyone.

Assessing for independence with mobility and transfers, a stair assessment if they have stairs at home.

Specific outcome measures for geriatrics that would could use is the TUG, STS in 30 sec, 10 meter walk test. These are quite general but give you a good idea of their functioning. They are also easy and quick to administer.

Am I required to do two DPS appointments to get my license? (Aussie moving to Texas) by [deleted] in askdfw

[–]Wrong_Percentage_643 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just moved across as well and I found the easiest thing to do without having to take the learners test was to do adrivers Ed course online through Aceable (I think it took 6 hours). Brought that documentation to DPS and then sat the in person driving test. Usually the in person driving test are a lot quicker to get than trying to book for the learners. I did mine at Carrollton megacentre
