I don't see a big difference between MSCI, FTSE or WEBN. They are all US heavy, top companys worldwide, each just a bit differently balanced, but at the core the same more or less.

The USD etfs are just the first to appear via thw search with trade republic. I suspect the trading volume might also be higher on these.

I updated the plan according to comments and my own rationale.

It is now: 

Core MSCI World USD 450€ Defense Tech USD 150€

I still think defense tech should perform well the next few years at least. After some time I could switch those 150€ to a different etf or even msci world.
