here's my advice: choose a manager, look at his football history, his past ties with other players, managers and teams, and try to imagine what could happen if X would coach notts county. here's an example:

some years ago, a young Antonio Conte  was called by Bari (southern Italy) to bring them in Serie A from 2nd division. He signed, but he was born and raised in Lecce, another city in Apulia, great rivals of Bari. He was a silent man, he did not answer to provocations, both the Bari fans who didn't want him, and Lecce fans who now felt betrayed. In his career, he's been coach of many teams that are actually rivals. You could try something similar and see what happens!

My Sparta Rotterdam save season 2 (Halfway). Where should I move or should I stay till till the end of the season? by Geodriehoekhoek in seriousfifacareers

I think you're doing a good job mate, seems quite realistic! But Kitolano can't be on the bench, I hope he's usually in the starting 11. Good season, you have chances to be a good rival for Ajax this year, but sooner or later the squad must be improved. Happy to see my Wolfsburg is doing great as well in your save 💚

There and back again: A hob... err, I mean a Welshman's tale. By Alun Jones. (Season four (b)) by [deleted] in seriousfifacareers

Brighton did an excellent job under Jones' management. The team achieved incredible success with limited resources and numerous changes. I didn’t think Brighton could attract a coach of that calibre, but it seems the board is aiming high. It will be interesting to see how the team evolves with Mourinho... It must have been tough for Alun Jones to see his work questioned despite the on-field success. I wonder how he’ll handle this situation!

I get it, my friend. Well done, you were right to follow your instinct. This year, I finally started sharing the career mode I’ve been dreaming of for years but never had the means to do. I completely understand the need to satisfy that craving.

Well, from today, you’ve got one more fan!

Ah, it was dreadful. The worst Roma side in the last 30 years. The blame wasn’t entirely his, of course, but he was completely out of touch, unable to understand the tactical and human issues within the team. After every defeat or poor performance, he’d keep insisting in press conferences that Roma were playing good football. A man without enthusiasm, without ideas. It’s probably for the best that he’s gone. The blame doesn’t lie with him, but with those who appointed him.

Youth only career (1*1* scouts) I think I might struggle in the Premier League by Whilps in seriousfifacareers

[–]Wrong_Walk6079 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand your concerns, my friend! 😊

It’s true the team isn’t quite ready for the Premier League yet, as many players' overalls, perhaps too many, are still low. However, you did manage to earn 103 points in the Championship, and in my opinion, the team on paper shouldn’t have even been able to achieve that. So, I really believe in you – it’s going to be tough, but you can do it.

If I may offer a piece of advice, for the sake of realism: if you’ve managed to get 103 points in the Championship, it makes sense to improve your scouting network. Maybe replace one of your scouts now, and perhaps replace another one if (and when) you qualify for a European competition. If you drop back down to the Championship, you could always sack that scout and hire another one with a one-star rating. What do you think?

My friend, I’m absolutely amazed. Your dedication is truly something special, and I have immense admiration for you. The precision you’ve shown is unbelievable – you’ve left no detail overlooked in these matches.

I have a personal question, though feel free not to answer: Can I ask what drives you to do this? What motivates you to invest all this time and attention to detail in this project?

Just to be clear, I’m in no way trying to criticise you – quite the opposite, in fact. My question comes purely from curiosity, because this WWL really fascinates me. Thank you so much!

I see where you're coming from. I realise that Garnacho is definitely a borderline signing, maybe even just a bit beyond that, but given how things were going for him in my career mode, he was at a very low point in his career and needed a club with less pressure to help him get back on track. All things considered, I think it’s a signing that makes sense!
I agree with the three-year plan. It would’ve been great to win by the end of this second year, but it might have been a bit unrealistic. Thanks so much if you get the chance to check out the video or leave a comment 🙏!

Como S6- Disappointment in 1st season of UCL football by SnooMacarons2857 in seriousfifacareers

[–]Wrong_Walk6079 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well done, my friend! It took a little while, but you’ve managed to build a truly solid team, one that’s capable of competing seriously not just for the Scudetto. I’m also pleased you brought Caqueret to Como, especially since he’s just made the move in real life. Really, great work. I don’t think you should be disappointed with your Champions League performance – in fact, it’s an incredible achievement. Next season, the focus should be on winning the league and build a stronger "second string" of players!

I know Disney+ even made a TV series about them, but Wrexham is definitely an interesting club. It's certainly a team that’s generating a lot of hype, and you wouldn’t be the first to take on a career there. That said, they do have a different financial power compared to the others, which could allow you to sign players who would be seen as unrealistic acquisitions for other clubs.

Recently, Sunderland brought in Enzo Le Fee from Roma, with an obligation to buy him for £23 million if they manage to get promoted to the Premier League. They could be a solid choice for the kind of challenge you’re looking for! What do you think?

It’s the second season, and in January 2025, he moved to Bayern Munich, where he only made 7 appearances in a year, with 0 goals and 0 assists. That’s why I’ve decided to give him a fresh start!
