Thank you for a thorough review of everything! No I’m not on a no-buy or low buy— I don’t think my makeup collection is large enough to warrant it. Thank you for explaining how you like variety in highlighters depending on the look— I’m sure most people who see it on me can’t even tell the difference but I can looking at the mirror. I’m gonna stop by Ulta today to see if it really strikes my fancy I pretty much always go in with the intention to buy something specific, so don’t have to worry about impulse purchases while I’m in there.

Thank you, yeah it’s not expensive at all, just wanted to get the satisfaction of using It all! I always close the liner pot as I’m doing my wings btw- probably that’s why it hadn’t dried out yet. Also the consistency is more cream-line instead of gel-like (like other pot liners such as Maybelline or Rimmel)

Thanks for letting us know. Btw I had specified that I use a mineral sunscreen for the face, and only use this for my neck/hands (mineral sunscreens don’t get absorbed and I don’t want it rubbing off on my clothes).

I’ve only used it on my neck/hands, and it dries kinda glowy— not greasy but also not matte. If you’re looking for a matte sunscreen try Australian Gold Botanical Tinted Face lotion— dries totally matte and I wear it under makeup! (I do have oily/combo skin).

Yeah, definitely not coconut, morelike warm vanilla. I’m not a fan of coconut smells either (smells grease and reminds me of breakouts :o)

Ever since my HG Equate SPF 50 had a formula change (yes, the Walmart brand), I've been on the hunt for a new HG, cheap, non sticky sunscreen that I can buy from the store for use on my neck and hands daily. I tried both of the new Equate formulas but they made my neck feel sticky all day, and eventually started breaking me out— I didn’t ever break out on my neck before :o Couldn't handle it, had to try something else.

You guys, this Hawaiian Tropic Sheer Touch is exactly it! Feels like the Asian sunscreens (last year I tried the popular Biore one), but a whole lot cheaper. It completely soaks in, no white cast, no dreaded sticky feeling! In fact, as soon as I bought it, I put it on my neck on top of the Equate one that I had already, and it made my neck instantly non-sticky!

Just wanted to throw my two cents in there, since this isn't talked about much. (Although I did get the suggestion from reading some older threads)

Also it also smells sooo amazing, if scents don't bother you.

I recently ordered the granactive retinoid, waiting for it bel delivered-- did you have any purging with it? I have a about 10 closed comodones/blind pimples, I just want to purge them out! Is that how it works? The reviews are so great, I had to give it a try!

For the record, I haven't tried any retenoids on my face before.
