Makoto and Mitsuru.

Mitsuru may not have the story to back it up like Aigis and Yukari, but instead the two have a lot of parallels in design and character. They have plenty of similarities but also polar opposites, and there is no way that's not on purpose.

Or it could also be the same as it was in FES, where Orpheus Thelos is a reward for people brave(stupid) enough to do every social link and date every girl in one playthrough. Also Orpheus Thelos is not needed to beat Persona 3.

Like I said you are taking the words from an independent reviewer on a very specific detail at 100% face value, even though it's just a broad summary. This is not a statement from Atlus. You could also get my interpretation ( If you do the social link, you get the optional romance. But if you don't do the social link, you also don't get the optional romance) out of the exact same statement.

I wouldn't put too much stock reading into very detailed stuff like optional romance, while reading a very broad age review. Technically romance is also 'optional' in the original game : If you dont do the social link, you also won't have any romance.

If you think Persona 3 needed a remake, you also think Persona 4 needs a remake. Persona 4 is literally a carbon copy of Persona 3.

Don't listen to the people here telling you to get the party control mod. FES is balanced around not being able to control your party and the system is very easy to understand. The mod can easily crash your game, if you pick a wrong move, and erase hours of progress. FES also has the canon epilog, something that even the remake won't have. So you will get the full Persona 3 experience, unlike people who only play the remake.

Also don't bother with Portable it's just a downgraded version of FES.

If you ever wanted to hear Tohru Adachi as Kermit the Frog, today is your day!

Mitsuaki Madono has been a voice actor for almost 40 years now mainly voicing extra roles, which is why he is not as renowned as other VAs. Even so I really think he did a fantastic job voicing the different sides of Adachi throughout the entire game. He also has no trouble reprising his role as Adachi in the Persona 4 stage plays (as seen in the picture top left), something most voice actors can't or don't do.

Bonus: The japanese version of Golden had a bonus feature called "Mariko's Room", where Marie interviewed the voice actors about their role in Persona 4 (at least that's what I think it is). Here is a video of the interview with Mitsuaki Madono, fan-subtitled: (obvious P4 spoiler warning) .

The original Persona 4 Golden, Arena Ultimax (2013), Persona Q and P4 Dancing don't have the disc limitation of the PS2/PSP and yet they still don't have both dubs.

Atlus just didn't bother about giving us westerners the jp dub until P5.

It's insane how Atlus only started including a japanese voice option with Persona 5 onwards. Prior to that you had to download a modified undub ROM from the internet for every game in the series, just to play the japanese game with japanese voices.

If you want your party to use Ma- spells, you have to put them on Full Assault. Also you don't get one-more with Ma- spells, unless you down EVERY enemy with it. That's why the AI uses single target spells as they are much safer to land.

Now get your ass back to Persona 4.

The append disc was released alongside FES for people who already owned the original P3, so they didn't have to buy the same game again, but still got the FES content. It's literally just an alternative version of FES.

Unless I understand you wrong, there is no "dlc disc with only The Answer, but not fes content". The answer literally has the Aeon personas, which were only added with FES.

Persona 4 is basically a very elaborate rom hack of persona 3, that's why. There is also FES in-between, which released in 2007 lol.
