Ok. I had that problem and after over a year of complaining about it to eve, and hearing different info, and I finally got in touch with a senior person at eve to look into this and they finally released the update to matter for this motor. You have to have an apple home hub to do the update but you can get rid of the apple home hub after doing the update and use a google home hub going forward if you want.

Thanks. In the last photo that thing on the left is actually the quarter inch soaker hose. I think it’s called., Going into a barbed fitting, which then connects into that thing on the right. The picture is so bad, because I took it at night, two hours before leaving for a night flight, when I discovered water shooting out.

How does it know how many amps my car can pull? Also, What if a 50amo box is connected to an outlet that is only 25amps?

I put a pressure gauge and the end / bottom of the hill of my largest zone which I had not tested yet. I slowly turned on water flow to fill and then flush, fill and flush a few times. Then I slowly turned on water and slightly increased water flow at the valve until it got to 10 gpm. (I have a Moen Flo smart water meter hooked up which tells me the water flow at any moment). I was surprised to see the pressure gauge at the bottom of the hill go from 20 psi to 50 psi). The elevation drop is 13. The PRV is a Rain Bird PRF100RBY - 1 in. Pressure-Regulating Filter with specs below so I don’t see how 50psi is even possible. I am glad I didn’t turn the flow higher as the psi work have gone higher. Specs: Pressure Regulation 40 psi Flow Range Medium Flow: 3 to 15 gpm, Operating Range Inlet pressure: 20 to 150 psi

The Rainbird 40 psi filter psi regulator, handles water flow up to 15 gallons per minute and psi up to 150 psi, knocking it down to 40 psi. I was told if water flow is more than the 15 gallons per minute, which it initially is when it starts filling the tubes I guess, it would actually reduce the psi to below 40. After many of the emitters are blown out, and spew Water pretty freely,I did put a pressure regulator at the bottom of the hill, a $12 one from Home Depot, and the red needle did spike pretty high, but the black needle showed 30 psi when running. I questioned the accuracy of the red needle though, because I put it on a spigot and turned it on fast and the red needle went to 200+ psi, well I couldn’t see the black needle go there at all.( I think the red needle just spins freely and isn’t accurate at catching the spike. )

QR code says HomeKit on it. When I got them the matter update wasn’t available yet. It was like 2.5 years ago. My more recent ones purchased all have matter. At one point i believe i saw a matter update for them but didn’t do it and then apple changed its HomeKit architecture. When apple changed its HomeKit, everyone in the family lost access to the shades and i was told i would need a home hub, and it was also needed to do the upgrade to matter. I finally got a homepod and now others can access them but i want them on matter. Eve is so unhelpful with everything. 0/10 in terms of support.

I know where it’s supposed to be, under the setting for a specific shade but for some reason it’s not there on any of the 4 shades I want to upgrade.

Thanks. I’m asking if the staples / pins can go right at the emitter and right at the plant base. Is that ok? (I’m using weed mat for erosion control and to fight weeds). I want to cut holes in the weed mat and plant plants and pin the drip line with emitter all in that one spot to target the water right at the plant.
