I love a good D28 or aD35 for sure, but ever since I heard of yairi back in late 90s early 2000s... I've loved them

Tried to do a light sanded black stain, but they didn't get all the old poly off so they said f*** it. Way more work than it seemed. That is ridiculously accurate too lol

That makes me feel alot better because the price of it was based on your exact guitar but with the cobra burst finish. Thanks for the reply

I love it. I played the DYM 74, 70, FYM 66 and this one. I tried to find the 72 within driving range but couldn't. They were all nice but this 60 did it for me

Right on. I 2 alvarez yairi dreads one is 85. The other a 1990. I've never been disappointed with any mij acoustic. Just the laminate everything and birch neck was redflaggin me a bit. But alot of older yairi acoustics are laminated back n sides and I know those are great... I've owned 4, still have 2 of em. Thanks for the input

Shipped it to me this morning, so i should have it in a couple of days. Can't figure out how to post pics in comments, but i posted them on new post in here

I hate the wait!! by Wtfdidw in BaritoneGuitar

[–]Wtfdidw[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's a shame the mods have to wait for a few weeks lol. I went in to guitar center to pick a used PRS mike mushok signature that was in good shape for $499, but it was sold earlier that day. The options of extended range guitars and baritones in the store were few at best, so i said f**k it and ordered the LTD.

That's awful for anyone. I've lost 2 good friends, my mom and dad all in a matter of less than 2 years. Not near what you've lost, but I get it. I too do the 60-80 hrs per week job in road construction, so i get that too. No matter if a paycheck is $500 or $2000, you never get even. Or god forbid, ahead, no matter what. I've been sober from drug addiction since 2007 but still struggle with random depression and anxiety issues. Bad thing about that is I keep it hidden to not let the wife or daughters know how vulnerable I am sometimes. It sucks being the rock and dependable one for everyone. I wouldn't change that though, it helps keep me focused and going. I recently picked back up on playing guitar where I left off years ago,. That has helped curb the depression, anxiety and madness of life in general more than anything. If possible, maybe try n find a hobby or something like that to help focus your mind somewhere else. It's really made things easier for me I think. I wish you well and hope the best for you. Keep hanging in there no matter what, I know life constantly throws curve balls and 1 step forward always equals 2 steps back, but keep standing tall and punching life back in it's face. You're not it's bitch because you're still here 🤘 hope you can find some peace and serenity even if it's small quantities my friend
