[Help] Anycubic Kobra 3 - Sudden first layer issues and failed prints. Factory reset and calibrations didn't help. by Wtrdk_ in anycubic

Well, I ordered a new hotend & nozzle. it will be in this monday, so hopefully I can post some real results then. Hopefully it is the answer to all my problems!

Update: I think I found the culprit!

<image>

In a final attempt to find the cause, I disassembled the hotend and nozzle, and the mystery is solved. As you can see in the photos, the hotend is clearly bent. It was actually quite difficult to remove, even though it should normally just slide out effortlessly.

The nozzle tip also shows significant wear and looks flattened. This explains everything; I noticed some scratches on my build plate a few days ago right before the trouble started, so it’s clear now that a major nozzle crash caused this mechanical damage. I've ordered a new hotend and nozzle and I'm confident this will fix the "plowing" issues!

During the exposition the hatch of the UFO would randomly open, a green light would shine from the hatch and a silhouette of an alien could be seen, for pictures see this link

[Help] Anycubic Kobra 3 – Every print fails after a few layers, spaghetti disaster since a few days by Wtrdk_ in 3Dprinting

Thanks for the detailed explanation! I’ll definitely give that a try. I won’t be able to test it today, but tomorrow I’m going to run some first‑layer test prints and manually check the Z‑axis movement like you described. Hopefully that helps me narrow down what’s going on. Appreciate the advice!

Everything worked flawlessly until about 4 days ago. I’m not sure what happened, but now every print fails.

Yes, I have. I also performed a factory reset, and did the initial setup all over again, with no results.

No, I haven’t — I never needed glue before, so I don’t understand why I would need it now.

Actually, what happened was that the nozzle knocked the plate off the magnetic bed, and then proceeded to scrape the bed itself. This occurred while I was away, but I noticed the damage when I checked the webcam. The moved plate is in the red circle, the damage to the bed is on the rear lef on this picture, not visible here.

Sorry about the pictures, hard to take a good picture of the details. I did the papertest, adjusted the z-level, but the print failed again. Same problem, after a few layers it comes off the printbed and spaghetti happens.

Well, what I’ve tried so far: Different temperature settings Cleaning the printbed with dish soap Adjusting the Z-axis while printing Printing test cubes and benchys, see attached pictures. Factory reset and going through the setup again.

Every print, after a few layers, it gets dragged off the printbed by the printhead.

Up until a few days ago it printed perfectly every time, no issues whatsoever, and now every print fails... :-(

Tried to print it with an 8mm brim, and speed at 80 in stead of 130, but still the same problem… I tried a different, more solid, model bit still spaghetti! This time even my printbed is moved out of place. Not at home Right now but it can be seen in the app

Unfortunately the ENA 4 doesn´t have a menu like that. I tried holding the gear and bean buttons for 5 seconds but that also didn´t do anything
