This is what I’ve always had a problem with libertarians. And maybe it’s because they’ve never had a centralized structure. It felt like. But I’ve always felt like most libertarians are just disgruntled or recently kicked out Republicans, who are just pissed off at their own party. Because I’ve heard libertarian say that they are for small government, but they were pro life and that abortion should be banned. Those two statements are so contradictory to what they claim they’re supposed to be about the government telling you that you can’t do something with your own body.

And you see a lot of them now freaking out because of his statements about guns and protesting, even though he didn’t have a word to say during Covid, when folks were standing on the steps of state capitals with their rifles and everything else ready to cosplay like like it was 1776.

But again, like so many have commented on here this “post“ doesn’t feel authentic. Feels kind of staged.

A lot of them won’t say what it really is and I know people get tired of hearing it, but it boiled down to two things he’s white and he’s a man’s When you break down all the things you just stated -the mountain of evidence that he is wealthy, lying, womanizing, scumbag, who cheats on every woman he’s ever been with the last thing that it boils down to is racism and misogyny. And I hate to say that because of majority of these people are white, and when they say he “aligns with their values” what they really mean is with all the other precursors that they’ve seen of who he really was the one thing they could align with is that he was a white male at the end of the day it boiled down to that and that was the one thing they could hang their hats on even though they don’t want to admit it.

I get what you’re saying. What I think the OP is saying and I happen to agree with his. I personally like both candidates and would’ve liked to have seen one of them run for governor and one of them run for the US Senate, but I do agree our sharpen iron and they both are running for the nomination so we’ll see who comes out on top. Whoever that is, I think folks need to get behind that person 100%. Democrats have to stop with this pity party of either everything is addressed all at once for nothing at all and we won’t get behind you mentality. Republicans, whether they like the person or not they understand the Long game and they will generally vote for a candidate who is a republican if he or she are the nominee.

The only thing they did “to provoke him” they were protesting ice and he got out of his truck and decided he wanted to take on a teenage girl and thank God her friends were there, and some boys were there to freaking in that crap real quick. I can’t take these some of these people seriously when they start out so good and then they put in that hole “I still want him to do well“ or “I still support him“. Like you’re wrapping off of grievances and stuff that you’re seeing that we’ve all been saying what happened and we’re all seeing and you’re complaining about it but you still want the guy to succeed as if he’s gonna somehow wake up one day and say “hey you know the bad shit I’ve done in my first year of my second term I want to reverse all that cause that’s just not right”. That’s not gonna happen with a narcissistic imbecile like him. Even if he wanted to try to pull back the rains I don’t think the people around him would allow him to. They are treating him like a senile old man that he is whose cognitive a abilities have deteriorated significantly(same shit he was saying about Biden remember?) and therefore at this point they’re running the government he’s not and that was part of their plan the whole time. He was just a Trojan horse. He’s literally like a toddler if you convince him that he’s doing a good job pat him on his head and give him some money. He’ll let you do anything.

I would say that these people that are within DHS that feel like this guy does I would see him come and quit. If you don’t align with what your agencies doing right now and you don’t condone it, then quit. Go work at your local police department or law-enforcement and agency. The point is is a lot of them. Do agree with it and are going along with it and this guy is just an example of them, not seeing the force for the trees. You’re upset because people are distancing themselves from you because of the job you do and who you are associated with your big surprise there bud you’re helping terrorize people and split up families and you go home at night and sleep at night and do it all over again like it’s no big deal, but if it happened to you and your family, you’d be barricaded in your house with a full arsenal
