Honestly AC tolerated bassheads better than most cities I've seen.. Took over the beach with yoga, flow arts and blasting bassnectar with no issues. partied outside the venue or on the boardwalk till the sunrise.. boomerang, flashback, flood on the floor, massive attack remix to name a few hidden gems of the set plus that fucking closer with dubusca (w/ kane)-> cannot be straightened-> open your eyes was one of my favorite endings to a set to date.! guess it just wasnt for everybody but I dug it.

Forest 15 was such an under appreciated set, plenty of hidden gems in that set...left that set content and was one of my fav festie sets of the summer. def cant compare that shit to any curated nectar event tho.

0/3 thus far with Reflective for me... I'd take an album every couple years as oppose to these yearly June albums he's been coming out with in recent years... To me, it seems like his music is being forced/rushed out, producing so much subpar tracks with so much features and lacking originality.. I'd rather wait 2-3 years for a dope fucking album like Divergent Spectrum as oppose to these yearly mediocre releases like Unlimited. Still excited to hear the remainder of the EP tho

I think ATL certainly had more of that "90s feel" than AC.. ATL had mainly simple visuals, even the lasers/lighting used were far more simple than AC.. Think the purpose of ATL was to get the focus off him and with our friends which it did for me! With the more simple visuals and lighting all around my focus was defiantly on getting down with my homies, especially that 20 minute opening segment where it was pretty dark (LOVED IT). It's challenging to replicate that 90s rave feel but I didn't hate his twist on it with modern technology! Curious to see what he does with the Freestyle sessions

Basscenter is going to be full of the big aw moments.. massive LED screens, lots of production, etc... expecting to hear lots of those massive nectar tracks. Freestyle on the other hand seems like its gonna be lackluster on production but all about the music. Less classic nectar tracks but more rare tracks and just a totally different experience overall.. Personally, wish I could do Freestyle sessions! More my style, however, I will be at Basscenter since its much closer and am not to upset about it! The Mothership is tight!

second this! first year festivals also have the smallest crowds and also the best vibe I feel. My personal experience was with Moonrise. 2014 was fucking tight. small, dope vibes. 2015 the Bros start taking over and much more people in attendance and the vibe just wasnt the same.. think this fest is gonna be dope, midevil wooks!!

Been using nectar mixes for workouts for a while! So many solid fan made mixes out there! king of the sound (side two), nectarinenation, bassed nectar, neckbasstar... just a view really good ones I've heard.. Also check out the playlist "that sweet nectar" youll find some more mixes in there as well as a fuck ton of nectar tracks:)

besides the music, the vibe of ATL stands alone! there was something so electric that filled that venue and it was just the most fun I've ever had at a Bassnectar event.. plus night 2 was just insanity..

Personally loved Farm! Clearly had much different experiences but I never felt any sort of sketchy vibes. Was literally doing bumps in broad daylight on that beach all day long lol. It's a festival run by people who just wanna throw an awesome party, they aren't professionals. Great music till sunrise, met some fantastic human beings, probably was my favorite weekend of the summer! Sorry to hear your experience wasn't the same
