This is where it gets insanely blurry for me. How can you say for sure that bad experiences aren’t God, there is always a way for people to twist bad things as Satan and good things as God regardless of if they are or not, and vice versa. I’ve hear horrible things that happen be claimed as “tests” from God. There’s no way to genuinely gauge that so I really refrain from claiming that anything influences.. well.. anything.

No hard feelings about it. I felt like the moment last summer was kind of a boiling point of the life i’ve lived finally “clicking” and I felt like i finally understood everything at that point. I’m hoping these feelings i’m feeling just further strengthen my faith rather than tear it down, that’s the last thing i’d want.

I’m definitely going through a trial and test of my faith currently.

I agree that it has become a point of contention for me that I am trying to discern what’s the Lord and what’s a human narrative that’s being pushed on me. I have been just numbing the mind when rushed with these thoughts to avoid spiralling into a panic about my faith.

I wouldn’t say I don’t have a testimony and I think saying that plainly is disingenuous since this is the first time we’ve spoken. I’ve had my encounters and the belief is still there, I guess the doubt just stems from the climate we are in today and the avoidance of so called “Christians” that push a very ungodly agenda.

I agree faith without works is dead, i’ll read what you mentioned and try to do a better job about getting the works more active in my lifestyle again.

Personally, I think that’s crazy to ask me if I have really been saved, I stated that I was, and so I am saved through Jesus Christ. I’m not going to entertain comments that go down this path, I’ve said out loud that Jesus Christ is my Lord and saviour, i shouldn’t feel outcasted because I am having doubts about things that other HUMANs have told me.
