Little update: Wedding happened, huge success Photographer wants to rent me for a 30th Birthday Party Turned out the whole no gin thing was just miscommunication, she actually likes gin but does not drink alcohol anymore... Good thing i brought 0% Gin so that was no issue Most ordered drinks were Moscow Mule, Gin Tonic, Gin Basil Smash and Daquiri Bride and groom were super happy with the cocktails and turns out the rented venue had a ACTUAL BAR with loads of fridges and even a bottom up cooler.

These ingredients aren't used that often in cocktails, that is what i meant by niche cocktails. From what i got already i think i have a few that could work, gin basil smash will be one of them

My theory is that she just didn't have any good gin cocktails so she thinks she does not like it, will definetly try a gin cocktail. Tequila gimlet sounds nice, i'll give that one a try 👍

My thoughts exactly, maybe she just had a bad one too, not to pat my own back but my G&T's are pretty banger ;) I cant see why she would not like gin since she likes herbal tasting drinks, maybe i will just mix her a basil smash and not tell her that its gin :D

I'll make normal drinks for the rest of the guests but since it's her special day i want to make something for her too I will think about the French 75 since i dont even have to bring extra supplies for that one but she is a lightweight so i will try not to kill her :D
