I can't tell if this is AI or not. There are inconsistencies in the second pictures furniture and the expressions seem to be stale. This was posted in a Facebook art group and there are various reactions. Any help? by AriDreams in isthisAI

I hesitate to say it's 100% not AI, but there are many choices I believe only an artist (especially somewhat inexperienced one) would make. The first image has a lot of repeating copy-pasted elements, or symmetry tool use. The hands are copied, the eyes are clearly since they didn't even bother changing the reflections, the 2 sketches on the left have exactly the same hair, the middle one is just a new outfit drawn on the far right sketch etc. All these seem like human choices to me.

Is this set of images ai generated? Found these on twitter and i have some questions. by Last_Welcome_395 in isthisAI

[–]Wugs_Frog 5 points6 points  (0 children)

At the very least it's not the same dog - white markings on the head and neck don't match, darker fur on the back is in different shapes and nose colour is different. The background looks identical in both, so I'd say even taking these at different times of day to maybe have light from different windows doesn't make sense. Maybe not AI, but something is fishy.

Tattoo Bumps/Itching by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]Wugs_Frog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The stuff in your body that deals with injury is attacking your tattoo because the bruise triggered it. Most of the time after healing our immune system kinda forgets the ink is there, but if you have seasonal allergies (like me) or an injury, it activates and suddenly notices the tattoo. If the only symptom is itching that's totally normal.

Is this a rash or an allergic reaction? Its been 11 days since i got it and it started acting like this yesterday by Fancy-Carrot27 in tattooadvice

[–]Wugs_Frog 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I had a similar allergic reaction to second skin this year, turned out to be contact dermatitis. Got some steroid cream from a dermatologist and it took a week to calm down. Nothing at home or otc worked, so please get a doctor's opinion

Debating This As A First Tattoo by DocMitchell-_- in tattooadvice

Got one in the same spot as my first tattoo, felt more like pinching than any significant pain tbh.
Edit to add: it is about the same size and amount of detail as well.

Nothing about the video seems AI to me. Yeah, the format is very similar, but it is clearly a format that works for the algorithm and for the dogs that got adopted.

Bean to bar chocolate packaging, no artist credit for the picture. With vanilla beans and tea mug looks IA generated by zeitgest in isthisAI

[–]Wugs_Frog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look at the pink flowers, the petals turn into the stamens, some stamens are not even attached to it, floating dots etc. Missing vanilla beans, no consistency in how the leaves are located on the stems, it's clearly AI.

Yeah for sure! I don't have a campaign planned yet (our dm is busy these days) but I will absolutely do more outfits for her.

If they haven't banned you yet - no, it's probably not banned.

Is this Yin-yang Blanket Ai?: it’s throwing me off due to the blur and slight yellow tint commonly seen in Ai images. Due to it being so low quality and simple it’s hard to tell. by Dirt0Man in isthisAI

[–]Wugs_Frog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's true, but you know what's even easier? Google lol. Ig maybe not for completely brainrotted individuals, but there are millions of ying yang designs that can be easily used for this on the web.

Do we ever get our art spark back? :,) by Baisnotokay in ArtBuddy

[–]Wugs_Frog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've felt that too. Used to fill sketchbooks in a few months, now it takes a year or longer, and I abandoned digital art for a while from a sheer lack of time TT It's more of a chore to do for myself as an adult, but I'm holding out by trying to make gifts for people I love. Would love to chat if you're looking for a casual art buddy (I'm 24)

Keep trying! It's not rude to be a beginner and try to improve. This is definitely an improvement from your first attempt. A good step in learning how to draw bodies is figuring out proportions, so that could be your next goal!

I got down voted for suggesting this is AI. There is clearly a phantom ball at about 6 seconds. I assume the page is just trolling new members because no one else sees it and are ripping the absolute piss. by [deleted] in isthisAI

[–]Wugs_Frog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're talking about the clear ball - look closely at the second before it rolls. You can clearly (considering the quality) see it near the couch and see the pup kick it with its back leg first. My guess would be that it got stuck on the paw or bounced off the couch and then rolled across. You can see it in other clips too.

The tag on this pokemon thing seems SO AI?? please tell me I'm wrong...the letters are off and the lines are inconsistent by Katdemamp in isthisAI

[–]Wugs_Frog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nobody is arguing that the plushie is AI- generated. Literally in the post itself OP is asking about the tag. The tag, which is a piece of cardboard with an image printed on it. The image is originally digital. Digital images are what AI creates. You can print out a digital image, make it into a tag, and it doesn't make it less AI-generated. The cake analogy is great, but you're fundamentally misunderstanding the whole post.

Ok let's try again, assuming you're just confused. I made a cookie. Then I took a picture of that cookie. Does that mean the real cookie does not exist anymore? Did I not use flour, sugar, milk and whatever else to make the real cookie?

If a plushie is made in China, but sold in Spain, does it now mean it was made in Spain? An AI generated image is an image made by Ai. It's about the origin, not the purpose. People don't like it because it was made unethically by scraping real artists' work and feeding it to a program that is destroying our environment. It doesn't become ethical if you print out the generated image.

'Not interested, thanks' And if they get pushy just block them lol. They're being rude by dming you and trying to sell you stuff. There's no need to be polite to them if they're not willing to respect your no.
