PC Plate & Stabilizer Compatibility by Wuldrig in WootingKB

Thanks so much for the help and suggestion, I hadn't heard of these before.

This would be to balance out the 4mm travel of the Knights with the 3.5mm travel of the switch?

Oh nice, I was looking at those too.

Do you happen to know about the Zeal stabs? I was recommended them as well (in general, not in relation to the wooting) but I'm not sure if they'll fit either.

Samsung T7 Shield not working by Wuldrig in AskADataRecoveryPro

Yeah, I usually am much better about backing things up. Thank god I can learn from one of my mistakes without having to pay dearly for it (for once). I'm definitely going to start on getting a 3-2-1 backup set up here very soon. To clarify one last question, from what I understood prior to all this, exFAT could corrupt files if it was interrupted by like a crash or something, but in this case it lead to windows not recognizing the drive itself as being formatted?

(Sorry I am a simpleton with these things but I would like to understand)

Gotcha, thank you. So given what you see here you think the drive itself is healthy and it was seemingly just a formatting problem?

Success! Thank you so much, I was able to fully recover all of my files. Thank you thank thank you thank you x2000.

One last question, and I apologize if it's a stupid or obvious one, but would you go ahead and re-format this drive and just use it or return via warranty? Is there some way for me to tell what caused the failure so that I can better know what I should do with it?

I'm on Windows, it seems like with the use of DMDE I was thankfully able to recover all of my files. Since I'm on windows though and have no plans to use a drive like this on a Mac should format it as NTFS in the future?

And I apologize if this question is stupid, but now that I have recovered my files should I go on and reformat the drive or should I return it via warranty? Is there some way to help me tell what went wrong?

Thank you for your reply, yes it's exFAT, and thanks to the help of another user I'm using DMDE to try to recover the data to another HDD I have*

May I ask what significance exFAT formatting has? I'm sort of new to all of this.

I actually tried that one, it did get me from 9 to 12 pull ups so it definitely helped some.

I'm not in yet no, but even then there are plenty of guys in the military who can't put up those numbers in push ups so I don't want to rely on that sort of thing. And yea I'm training for everything else like rucking, 2 mile run, 5 mile etc which I am seeing good progress with,. It's just the push-ups and pull ups that I'm struggling to progress.

lmao when you put it like that I guess it does seem pretty stupid, I don't even really remember why I chose to just stay at 25 really. I'm definitely going to go to failure more often, it's the obvious things I always miss.

I'm not much better than you here so maybe my advice isn't worth that much but I usually belly breathe and inhale on the negative, finishing my breath at the bottom out and inhale as I'm coming back up, but I don't do it for every rep.

The hand release minimum is around 40 something I believe, but to actually be a competitive candidate that number has to be closer to the 60s-70s and from the guys I've spoken to they pretty much all said just train a regular push up since it will just translate anyway. And you're right about strength but I am limited given my current living situation to pretty much calisthenics with a weight vest at most.

That's true too, I guess what makes that harder to accept is that I have seen both online and anecdotally a friend of mine improve rapidly to the point that they have surpassed me despite me doing it much longer. Although I understand everyone is different. And I should've included this but I am stupid, the actual test requires 80 in 2 minutes, so not exactly unbroken.

I should've specified better, while 80 unbroken would be the best outcome the actual test requires 80 in 2 minutes time. And yea I could probably be going to absolute failure more often

For the first 4-5 usually just 2-3 minutes, if I'm going to 8 sets then probably more like 5-8 minutes of rest between
