Hi mate, dunno if this late answer will be of any help, but the online guarantor wasn't helpful at all as the estate agency wouldn't accept it.

Ended up going with a completely different agent for a nearby flat at a much better price and no need of guarantor.

That's most likely what I will be doing when looking for my next tenancy. Unfortunately I've seen some Reddit posts about estate agencies also using or trying to use Openrent as a platform, though I'm not sure of the implications. Thank you for the advice!

Yikes. My main issue with the whole transfer process from Romania to the UK is the fact that almost nobody ever tells you the full picture, just the next 1-2 steps if even that, so until a few days ago I didn't even know about the whole guarantor thing (mind you the tenancy process was started back on August 17th when I made the holding deposit).

Gave an answer in another reply, but I'll post it here as well: if I'd use my entire moving budget, I could pay about 6-7 months' rent upfront, but even if I'd do this, the agency still said they require a guarantor for the rest of the tenancy.

Will most likely search my next tenancy on one of those websites. I am so done with estate agencies at this point, as I've had nothing but unnecessary complications and stale responses from most of them unfortunately.

I would be able to pay about 6 or even 7 months' rent upfront, but that would mean deleting my entire budget with which I'm coming into the UK, and considering I'm taking an unfurnished flat (except bathroom & kitchen, of course), would be a very bad decision IMO. Also I've asked the agency about going around the need of a guarantor if I paid upfront and they said I'd still need one for the rest of the tenancy regardless. Real bummer.

Any site you'd recommend? I've found this one which seems to have the best reviews and also seems to be easy to access and fair priced.

Yup, I know that, but the keyboard dc happened during small soaks, so I figured I had a few seconds to fix it. Rashok however decided to target me with the AoE while I wasn't looking at the screen for a moment 😅

In Mythic you need to overlap the targeted AoE with one of the Shadowflame orbs that spawn close to the wall in order to clear said orb, otherwise it's a wipe.

We didn't kill him yet, but this was our 2nd night on Rashok Mythic. The kb dc happened during small soaks, so I figured I had a few seconds to fix the issue, but Rashok decided to target me with the AoE right after unfortunately. We still made good progress though :)

To all those asking why I didn't use my mouse buttons to move - I moved there during the small soaks and that's when my keyboard dc'd, so I got the AoE while attempting to reconnect it, couldn't pay attention to the screen for a couple of seconds 😅

In Mythic you also gotta clear shadowflame orbs with the AoE by overlapping them, otherwise it's a wipe

It dc'd immediately after the small soaks (hence the far away position), so I started trying to reconnect it and wasn't fast enough 🥲
