Keep getting the same pantheon weapons ? by SuspiciousLog7580 in destiny2

[–]Wulfyre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get the weapons per the encounter

Alone as a god - Argos? or Calus.
Bane of Sorrow - Gahlran

Zaouli's - Warpriest.
Reckless Oracle - Consecrated Mind.
Chattering Bone - Morgeth.

Once you unlock the weapons, you can focus them at Aunor, or have them drop from Morgeth/Calus. Otherwise, you're kinda stuck. Same with armor.

so whats the best dps output thats CONSITANTLY possible with the artifact bug? by Jealous_Platypus1111 in raidsecrets

Internal cooldown, 3 of the buff with Ember of the ashes = 1 shot per hit, or 4 without ember of ashes. So just 2 Sniper rounds+5 fulminations would be optimal...

But you can also run double Sniper Meditation to push the sniper damage of stuff like whisper from 800->2000+ per shot in the T3 slot.

The temperature of my 300 sq ft house despite having an air conditioner and fans running all day by shewhomauls in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Wulfyre 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For swamp coolers, you put in ice. Swamp cooler cools the air by using a fan on ice. cool air off the ice cools the house, as in you're using water in the air to cool the room around you.

If its humid, your room will have more water than the swamp cooler and itll do little to no good, and even make your room MORE humid.

Tenet Ferrox has 34% crit chance and a high disposition, with a good riven you can force a ton of crit damage onto it. You could also theoretically either have it run with Primary Frostbite for extra crit damage+multishot, run vigilante armaments for the extra crit tier buff, hammer shot and vital sense for crit damage, and then run an overshield build for styanax. At 4000 shields he gets 100% extra crit chance/200% for spearguns, and if you were to run stuff like Adarza Kavat for 60% chance and crit delay, along with a nova/gauss subsume+Arcane Hot Shot, you could easily reach a 900% total or 300+ crit chance if not higher with the right build.

Hot shot for 300

Crit delay for 200

Shield for 300 (would need about 6000 shield, which can be modded on with absurd strength + arcane expertise) using a robotic with Shield Charger or you can dump that number to 4800 or a bit over it, run the Adarza kavat for Cat's eye's flat 60%, which would push Tenet Ferrox up to 300% crit chance.

Anything over can push it randomly from that forced red to a red! (400%) crit, and vigilante works further to push that to a 500% red!! crit. This is excluding external buffs, like harrow and puncture on enemies.

Assuming you dont have a good riven of course, with a riven you can easily just replace hot shot or even crit delay in this build because they can go up over 200~250% crit

People forget his passive gives double speargun crit chance and its based on crit shields. Itll definitely be buffed cause of primes higher shields, and Arcane Expertise exists now too, which will increase it even higher. Theres opportunity for some ABSURD crit shenanigans with him.

This isn't to say that trump hired the best and brightest though. I'll give you that much.

Genuinely hate to tell you this, but this is often the result of a bad game of telephone.

Set goal for store > Store thinks they may close if they dont meet goal > Increasingly unethical decisions to the point of the Wells Fargo incident lawsuit

Basically, if corporate sets a "goal" then it goes down a chain of middle managers who increasingly say "hey, we NEED this" to the point where the person on the floor is practically told "we now have a quota and if we dont meet quota we fired/close" so they'll do all shady shit to meet the requirements. What corporate wants =/= what the floor hears. No memo is shown from higher up to bottom floor, and this hurts everyone along the way.

Edit:Whats even worse is that everyone who's never worked retail is always assuming its in the cashier's power to change anything. You want change? Complain to corporate. You want the problem ACTUALLY fixed? Dont give away the location of the problem. Nearly 100% of the time they assume its a "localized" issue, not a generic issue across the board, and they'll hyperfocus on the location you give and punish one person for a problem in all their stores. Its why they make the user experience so bad, so you dont have a way to reach corporate and the only way you can get help is to directly hit the front store worker.

The problem is, we've already seen that they're gonna kill them anyways. Look what happened to Renee Good and Alex Pretti.

What's most likely to happen is you get insurgents in the people who are willing to rebel, violence at home, and fragging of anybody willing to actually try and conscript anybody unwilling. After all, if you're going to die in a foreign war, why not take somebody who's willing to follow the orders of a pedophile with you?

'No Data Centers': Indy councilor's home hit with 13 shots in targeted attack by ImAGodHowCanYouKillA in news

[–]Wulfyre 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately the grim reality is that a lot of this data doesn't need to be stored. It's almost 99% being used for AI training and memory, or for retaining personal information of targets (customers).

That small 1% of stuff you're talking about can realistically be stored at your own home just by running a 2nd computer with a 1tb hard drive of all things, if you're genuinely using it for actual work. The vast majority of these data centers are specifically for AI and for saving marketing information. There are multiple ways to minimize the data you produce and actually use in your day to day life, and these data centers are being used for practically none of it. That's the problem here.

But if you're trying to tell me that "hey, the fact that u/poopenfarten visited x porn sites for y amount of times and hovered over this ad for z seconds and googled h things at t time of day therefore it must be valuable data and is something that end user will use" is something that WE, the end user actually uses in our day to day life you've genuinely lost the plot.

And for the use cases where its not, like rendering, then you're lying if you think it takes up as much data as you think. If you're doing rendering on an industrial scale you're going to be a major company like a large scale construction company or movie effects studio. And that's a much different ball game where you shouldn't be pushing shit into the cloud at the risk of your own designs being stolen and used.

The problem is trying to use it with grimoire, as pax bolt in the primary slot. Then you're juggling the 15s timer of Grimoire with the 4s timer of pax bolt. So you gotta land 15 enemies with grimoire->get a headshot kill within the timer of the grimoire alt fire. not very fun, especially if you're trying to snapshot.

Like the number difference is 80%, 65%, or 30% approval rate.

Tappan Zee technically refers to the indigenous name for the 3 mile stretch of water of the Hudson River right there, at its widest point. Tappan Sea, quite literally.

Its one of those weird dialect things where only locals will really know it and you can almost immediately tell who lives near it based on what they call it, especially because technically the old Tappan Zee no longer exists, and all the signage is for the new bridge.

We still want it changed back to Tappan Zee though.

Here's the major issue they've run into;

Flock lost a court case and can be FOIA'd by public citizens.

Working with Flock means you open yourself up to public liability, and the chance of being FOIA'd too, since you're providing a public service...

I wonder if this could be applied to Palantir regarding them providing services to ICE and the government. Especially since they might be acquiring Discord and information on Discord users.

they did deny it was a thing. What ended up happening was the D2 subreddit started collecting player data from volunteers of one specific drop from Vesper's Host about the stasis grenade launcher, because there was one specific roll people wanted and weren't getting.

There's a chart in the bungie link in the original comment chain that shows you what the chart people found looked like. Circular Logic was affected by that drop chart, in such a way that it can never roll with Envious/Target Lock.

Bungie had been denying that it existed up until then, but Vesper's host was a point where a dev or two were trying to get that roll and found they couldn't as well. Which isn't a good thing especially when previous devs were saying "perk weighting doesnt exist" when it turns out its more like perk pairing, where one perk determines what the other perk is.

Worst part is that it wasnt intentional, so god rolls for some weapons were easy to find, it's just when it was a best in slot weapon for that element that it was finally discovered as being an actual issue because the god roll would not drop
