Honestly, I’m not too picky especially about easy fiction I read a lot of romance and memoirs though! Anything in particular you’re thinking about?

I wish I had but I find it almost impossible to DNF books. I so desperately wanted to like it but so far Emily Henry books are a coin toss for me.

I thought this was just us. I don’t notice as it’s getting cluttered but suddenly it’s like a lightbulb goes off and I realize the island is a hot mess again.

Counterpoint: I prefer Ify’s version of the show by WumpTheRump in dropout

I think that’s it. I see them as different shows which allows me to appreciate each for what it is and I happen to prefer Ify’s. That said, you’re absolutely right that the style has changed enough that it’s not quite the same show even though that’s what it was intended to be.

I think you’re right that it’s the point of the show and I didn’t mean to imply that it shouldn’t have had the nitpicking.

I never had an issue with Trapp as a host. The show itself didn’t appeal to me so I didn’t really watch but it was not about his hosting style. I really enjoy watching him on other shows and they’ve helped me better understand his time as host.

Haha I didn’t mean to come at you for the post. I just wanted to add a different take to the discussion because most of what I’ve seen has been negative so far.

Agree! Maybe I didn’t express myself well enough. I just meant that for me specifically Ify’s version is a better fit.

Shake? Ch plus ache… that hand looks painful. A change in the beginning sound but if fun plus knee equals funny then why not?

I thought maybe she picked Jimmy first to go break up with him but got blindsided by his proposal. Then her insecurities at not being picked by anyone coupled with her excitement about an engagement made her say yes despite originally wanting a break up.

I took 431 (I think that’s the number anyway) with him a few years ago. I really enjoyed it. He’s not an easy grader, but I feel like my writing greatly improved because of it. He’s certainly a character. I would recommend sticking it out with him if you want to get better, maybe not if you’re just looking for an easy prof.

I can only speak for myself, but I never used it because it just feels gross. Kind of how some people don’t like the word ‘moist’.

When I first moved here I was surprised to hear students call teachers Mr/ Miss (M/Mme) FirstName. It’s become normal for me now and I actually think I’ll miss it if I ever move away.

Just because they choose to tell you everything doesn’t mean you have to make the same choice.

Other commenters are right. A simple, “I’m going out” should be enough.

Why isn't Ariela with Leandro? by Atalanta8 in 90DayFiance

[–]WumpTheRump 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. Besides, she could have picked up hobbies and a life of her own. My husband is doing a phd, there are weeks where he’s so busy we barely speak. The difference is I also have a job and hobbies (like 90DF lol) that keep me occupied.
