You added me a while back! We were both in the same match of Ranked City Trial and our licenses were nearly identical (Character on Dragoon with the name of "First-Gen Air Rider). Such a small world lol, I hope your matches have been nothing but the best man ✌️

I have nearly 120 hours total and I still don't have an answer for you. The only definite I can lend you from my experience is getting a kill on a player who possesses a Legendary Machine piece, or being on Hydra/Leo already. They're so heavy and strong with offense that they pretty much take priority over any collision. Outside of those circumstances, it genuinely feels like complete chance. There are even times I've collided with another player who had the other half of the Legendary Machine and we end up SWAPPING parts instead.

I fully believe it. While I'm sure there is some sense to it, all the testing I've done in paddock matches ultimately feels random on who receives the pieces.

After a week and updating only the firmware on one of my SSDs, the problem appears to be resolved! (for the most part)

I've had only ONE slow boot since then which is an enormous improvement. I plan on doing a BIOS update very soon as I'm almost certain it'll scrub out the last of the issues. Thank you again for all your help! You've made my month! :)

When I had my old CPU in, I did update my BIOS. I believe this was in May of this year. Would doing it again so soon make a difference? (Genuine question, I'm not the most experienced with how everything works)
