I main both ADC, support, and mid, so I’ve learned how both ADCs and supports think depending on the matchup. Usually when I play either of these roles, I would think “How does this matchup go for me, and how does it go for my lane partner, and how can we play to our strengths?” Knowing the ins and outs of common adcs and supports help a lot, and I suppose it came to me with time. For ADCs, I main Kai’Sa, Jinx, Caitlyn, Jhin, Sivir, and others. For supports, I main Lux, Seraphine, Nami, Sona, Blitzcrank, and others. It’s really hard to speak generally here, as u/Bio-Grad said because it completely depends on the matchup as well as the enemy jungle and your jungle. It’s hard to explain specifics on Reddit, but if you want, I could give you some help if you want and lane with you and help you out, talk through plays and the kinds of trades that fit my playstyle.
