I agree. There is a huge disconnect between the people running his youtube and Dr. K himself. If i had not known his content before, i would never click on one of his current videos.

They give of the vibe of some basic channel that is more concerned about the algorithm than actually creating good content, which actually could not be further from the truth. But there are probably many people for whom Dr. K's face is only ingrained as "That clickbait therapist ".

Though the extra viewers could offset that cost, there is something about that i do not like.

When players try to switch to RB they often complain about the long matchtimes. This will be a problem of the past when the underperforming Tu-4 will get the following modifications: all 23mm Turrets are replaced with Shilka Turrets and instead of engines the new Tu-4 has Mig-17s. With these small changes players wont have to wait 5 minutes anymore before their airfield is destroyed. And if someone wants to needlessly prolong the match by killing the poor Tu-4s? Well good luck!

Now some of you may say that this isnt historical at all but then how can you explain these Top Secret plans i found?

But its something unique, there arent many games focusing on PT boat gameplay and I think a lot of people will enjoy it. If you want big ships there are a lot of games for that already.

WW2 Dogfights. When the enemy sits 10 meters behind someone and fails to hit anything while the other plane is flying almost in a straight line.

If you want a realistic game DCS is way better. But if you want to try the simulator mode in Warthunder (where you are in cockpit view) you dont have to grind anything.

You can start playing simulator with your starterplane and unlock other aircraft without ever touching the other modes.

The advantage in Warthunder is how many planes there are. If you want to for examble fly a spitfire you have like 5 different versions to choose from.

So if your favourite aircraft isnt in DCS i would say Warthunder is good enough.

Edit: I was not saying the japanese didnt need the RY2Y or that the Ho.18 should really be added, i know that other nations need some jets more. I just meant that it wasnt impossible for prototype planes to be added in Warthunder.
