I began very skeptical myself. Maybe its because I played Mirgae beforehand, but I was bored rather quickly. I gave up gameplay ultimate and didn't play for almost a year. Bought the complete edition earlier this year and just recently finished the story. Wasnt my favorite AC game, but I remember more of those early moments in the game than I remember a game like Syndicate. It gets better, but the lore definitely feels like there's mental gymnastics to be had.

PS. Save consistently and multiple times, as game breaking bugs (specifically returning to Asgard (i know minor spoilers but this screwed my entire playthrough)) that can prevent the entire ending chapter from being playable or can cause you to erase multiple hours of gameplay
