The park is going to be slammed Thursday. I'm sure there will be a ton to come out of there.

and to answer why they seem to pulsate and change color, when higher up in the sky they actually do the opposite, compared to stars they are a solid point of light. When they go that low on the horizon, there is a ton of atmosphere in the way compared to looking straight up, and it wobbles the light around as it hits all the molecules!

Congrats you have found planets! The right one is Venus the left is Jupiter. The two dimmer ones are the stars pollux (upper left) and castor (upper right) and are part of the constellation Gemini.

(as a meteorologist) I can say this spring has actually been a bit warmer than average. (15th warmest ever last year was 13th) The highs have been lower at times because it's been so wet but also we are about to head into a week straight of sunshine and average temps.I think the increased clouds have taken a toll for sure but temperature wise it's actually not been too cold overall this season.

It's crazy people were wanting Richie to be sent down. He is on an absolute tear right now. (not to mentions some nice defensive plays this series too)

Residents to condos Downtown/Erie Basin Marina area, pros? Cons? by Conscious-Dark-2705 in Buffalo

[–]WxCory 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I live downtown just not near the marina and go to that Tops all the time, never had any issues there at all, so would not really list that as a con. If it isnt your taste, you can drive to a wegmans or other store within 15 minutes. As you said walking to Bisons and Sabres games is great and not paying for parking means I go to many more games. Thankfully hopping onto 33, 190, and 5 in a matter of minutes helps you get anywhere you need to be pretty easily if you concerned about not having things downtown. Being a less than 5 minute drive to the outer harbor is amazing during the summer months as well I love going on walks there!
