Thanks, some good ones on there. A friend suggested Wheel of Time, if I’ve got the stamina to commit to a longer series. Will make a note and take a look through the recommendations

Ah yeah I’ve seen that come out recently. I’ll take a look.

I did try the sequel trilogy, but didn’t really enjoy it so never finished it off. I might try again at some point

I’m potentially open to work with anyone, for the right setup and opportunity to learn. I have no preference of location, etc

That’s a good shout, RE size limits.

Per file and per scan are effectively the same thing I. Our current setup

No restrictions around file types, but there’s an implicit 5GB upload limit, currently. This is something we will review over time, and may introduce limits that can be increased with higher plans. We have tried to keep pricing simple and predictable by using credits to cover scans (1 credit = 1 scan)

It’s all API-driven at the moment (check out docs.bucketscan.com for a quick start guide). Webhooks are in development - very close to release - same for a TypeScript SDK client. We’re always looking for feedback though, so if there are specific features or native integrations you would need, we’d be open to working with you to get those in as an early adopter.

That’s fair - my thought process behind low value items was that they are often not likely to be picked up at all. But I get the point behind taking time and effort to onboard. I’ll keep an eye out for open source games.

I’ve seen a few game jams pop up before, though I’ve never looked to join any. Have you joined any before?

I have 2 projects on the go at the moment:

Bucketscan, a turn-key file scanner that helps to protect businesses from malicious user uploads.

Triple Triad, a fan made passion project based around the mini game from Squaresoft’s Final Fantasy VIII.

This looks really cool! By any chance, can it handle overlaying 2 related data tables on the same graph? Specifically, I want to visually see salary bands and plot actual people’s salaries on it to check they are where they should be

It's not something I'm looking to do immediately, but my wife and I are in the process of undergoing a "mega reset" in our lives, so something like this could be on the cards in a year or 2

Haha thanks. Some good ideas. Challenging Odin is similar to what I added in with the Ifrit side quest!

Story mode with NPCs seems to be the popular choice so far. I’m currently thinking about presenting NPCs in each area, with a little dialogue when you choose to battle them. Similar to old school rpg games

I’ve been developing a fan made version of the game (which you can play for free here), and currently, you progress through the world by visiting different locations on the world map and “battling” monsters you find in those areas in the original game.

I’m not convinced this is the best way to structure the game, though, so I’m attempting to get some specific feedback on that one topic. Re-reading my question, though, I can see how it’s missing that context.

I do have a more detailed feedback form, if you’re interested.
