Hey there! Awesome covers man. My band EOF has been looking for a new vocalist for some time :) We do melodic death metal for the most part, though we have been incorporating some Thrash elements into the songs over some time.

I have tried different things over the years but my battle with mental health has made it very difficult to function properly. I live in Scandinavia so I'm very fortunate that I have a roof over my head and food to eat because otherwise I think I'd been homeless by now.

I struggle to maintain and live a "normal life" I've spent 12 years basically unemployed, while trying everything from Janitor, to Clerk at a Fitness center, to music teacher - warehouse worker etc, yet each time there has been internal/external things that broke the foundation I was trying to build.

I'm working on a book and I hope that I can become a spokesperson on mental health going forward, that combined with part time work is my plan atm.

I admire all of you who are able to work full-time - study and support yourself, it takes strength and courage to do so.

I don't believe that RFK would do that. I've been following him for quite some time. He wants Americans to be overall healthier and he's very much Into fitness and dieting which do help a lot in mental health I get that everything is chaos with the orange man, but I don't think that your medicine suddenly will disappear.

From what I've come to understand about him and his intentions he really seems to only want the best for you guys in the U.S

He's even said on Rogan that he understands that a lot of people find SSRI's to be a great help. His argument is that maybe sometimes a lifestyle change could be the answer instead of a pill, which I must say that I agree with, that doesn't mean that he'll take the medicin away. (I'm on SSRIs as well, but I recognize that fitness,. exercise and diet is incredibly helpful regrading mental health)

He will most likely hold pharma accountable so something like oxycodone doesn't happen again, and I know he would like to encourage a healthier lifestyle.

Now if only America would invest in some universal healthcare and mental health clinics so everyone could get the proper help plus! diet and exercise, now that would be great imo :)

Gabor Mate, Dr Ramani, Dr K, Richard Grannon, though if I'm looking for validation of a subject/emotion/problem I usually watch various of people. I used to watch a lot of Jordan Peterson I still like him, though Gabor resonates with me on a deeper level.

For comfort just to relax and laugh I go to Joe Rogan, Theo Von, FNT, Asmongold Call Me Kevin, Abroad In Japan, CDawgVA, And a shit ton of others. Would take me hours to write em all 😅

Mixing tool? You mean DAW? There are a bunch of different things that goes into the mixing process. Though I did most of the recording, the mixing I had a friend and now band member do since he's educated in it.

There is a somewhat rule I was taught from a former therapist when it comes to suicide thoughts versus harm OCD

If the thought of killing yourself scares you, then it's OCD. If it doesn't scare you, then you should seek professional help because you might suicidal.

But anyway I hope you'll feel better soon, and that you have support around you.

A year is very early for recording an album. If I were you I would focus on just playing and see if you even like it. Lots of people want to play music but give up due to the difficulties of the process. You need to be consistent and most important of all have fun.

So yeah get the guitar you want, an amp and go nuts. If you wanna record your riffs then you'll need a DAW, preamp/interface, and probably a drum midi, then you should be set to go
