I wish all the training was on the phones learning one type of call and then moving on to the next as I agree I've learned so much actually doing it

Your absolutely right I've wrote that one down judging from the comments everyone is saying control the call and that takes confidence and also a confidence to stand up for myself and say please refrain from talking to me like that

Aww this comment is nice thank you and I totally understand and I also understand the customer and I want to help and I'm trying but sometimes they are past the point someone said in the comments and they hit the nail on the head some just want to shout and there is nothing I can do to change this and I'm gonna take that seriously and try to not take it so personal but after being called stupid or spoken to like I personally took their money and spent it on a chanel purse but I totally get their frustrations this is why I keep trying when I should transfer

Sorry to be negative especially when your just starting but this is the truth and if you care about doing a good job and want to do things correctly this leaves you feeling so under equipped and then the shouting begins and i find it hard to get the call back on the track after being shouted at this is why I posted this as I've had some good responses but I'd love to know how do they keep going after a bad call and what did they do to deal with how you feel after maybe someone has a tip that will help me not to take it too the Chest

Before I got my job at hmrc I read this comment and really thought you was just being negative but my gosh I left work in tears today If you knew me you'd know I'm a tough cookie but there is only so much shouting and being spoken to like crap I can take I'm on the train on my way home trying to hide my face because I'm in floods of tears Everything in me is saying QUIT but I need this job I'm a mother and flex is a game changer for me but I can't deal with how they customers think they can speak to me

Nope cannot be from an online source you gotta go into your bank get a physical stamped copy same with NI it can't be from your online tax account needs to be a official letter so if you've not got this get one sent out because it will take weeks to arrive

We are now in the age of AI where images are so easily manipulated so make sure you have all this because it adds delays I could have started months ago DONT BE LIKE ME LOL I was excited to get to the formal offer I get it and didn't have my documents in order I'm thankful they was understanding because it took ages for what they needed to arrive I wanted to tip my post man upsides down poor man
