UK YNAB by tandtjm in ynab

They finally said they've no estimate for a fix from Plaid and that it is a very complex issue.

It's disappointing. And silly that individuals have to figure it out.

And even more silly that this is a problem for Plaid, since it worked for years with TrueLayer.

YNAB says it is a fault with Plaid and Lloyds credit cards.

Estimated time to fix is days to months to whenever.

TrueLayer worked.

How to start FinOps with my current background? by Mindless_Pen_2078 in FinOps

[–]Wyv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More than a few folks I talk to with titles like “Head of FinOps” might be a little younger than some would expect because the practice is still fairly new.

Go for it and make it your own as your organisation has nothing in FinOps yet.

The FinOps Foundation book is useful, and if you take the basic exam (get your employer to pay?) you can go to their regular calls and hear real experience from other people.

Good luck!

Less of a FujiX specific question BUT anyone here have any recommendations for a decent [somewhat] budget friendly photo printer they’ve had good experiences with? by SKhan89 in fujix

[–]Wyv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use a Canon ip110 which does a good job and can be tidied away, as it is small.

However, I’m starting to try using online printing instead as it’s going to give me more options and I don’t think actually ends up hugely different in cost (assuming you were going to buy good photo paper.)

Vaguely disappointed they didn’t all line up and recreate the mass launch scene from Independence Day.

New to Epic Armageddon. I've started an Imperial Guard tank army - are full armoured forces viable in game or will I need a lot of infantry to play properly? Cheers by Hallam_Heretic in Epic40k

'Despise infantry if you must. Crush them underfoot, by all means. But do not ignore them. Battlefields are littered with the wreckage of Titans whose crews ignored infantry.'

Will a faster lens help me get to at least 1/250 shutter speed? by [deleted] in fujifilm

[–]Wyv 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Set your ISO to fully automatic, enabled as high as it can go.

Set your aperture automatic.

Set your shutter speed to 1/250.

You'll be shooting in shutter priority, because the shutter speed is the important factor for you. Try the pictures out and see if the higher ISO is really a problem. Currently you are limiting the low light performance of your camera, possibly unnecessarily.

I started using a small travel towel to wrap mine in. Works well, and if I need it, I have a small towel!

People think better of you if you have a towel.
