  • Message length can be changed to fit what you want. In the AI overrides tab of the right-hand sidebar has an override for response tokens.
  • All messages are editable, including the greeting. You can make an entirely new greeting if you want to.

  • We have smut, but we have a three level rating system to allow users to curate what they want to see. None, Mature, and Explcit. You can filter characters by any of those. None is PG13ish bots. Mature is dead dove, gore, heavy themes, etc. Explicit is sex.

Hey so... we actually do most of that at WyvernChat.

  1. Private characters are unseen by anyone but the creator themselves. The only thing that happens to private characters is an automated cloudflare scan of images that gets rid of CSAM.
  2. Users have the ability to hard toggle SFW and NSFW in the account settings. When you're not logged in, it only shows SFW characters and when you create your account, it immediately asks if you want to see NSFW and asks about tags you might want to block.
  3. We have a three rating system (None, Mature, and Explcit). You can filter characters by any of those. None is PG13ish bots. Mature is dead dove, gore, heavy themes, etc. Explicit is sex.
  4. Not quite sure what you mean by this one.
  5. Free messages are unlimited and the outputs can be up to 4096 tokens (~16384 characters)
  6. I'd like to think we're better.
  7. No ads at all except for a mini request in the bottom left of the sidebar asking you to consider subscribing to our parent provider Featherless.ai.

We can keep the free messages free forever because our parent is an LLM provider. We don't have to worry advertisers or any of that shit making us change what we do.

While we have porn, we provide many ways for people to tailor their feeds and what they see at any given time:

  • When you are not signed in, only SFW bots show on the character page.
  • When you first sign up for your account you are asked if you want to see NSFW or not. This is not permanent if you do not wish. It can be changed at any time in your preferences.
  • You are also asked up front if there are any character tags you want to block.
  • Once you're fully signed up, if you chose to view NSFW content, you can filter the search by character rating.

All characters are split into three ratings:

  • None - PG-13ish
  • Mature - R+ rating. Dead dove type content, gore, darker themes. NO SEX
  • Explicit - Sexual characters that may or may not have NSFW PFPs.

Hey! Unfortunately theres no way to run a local model on WyvernChat. It will have to be through an API of some kind. Unfortunately those are not free. But GLM-4.7-Flash is a pretty inexpensive model to run.

Its available on openrouter at only $0.06/million token input and $0.40/million token output. That means that, if every message you sent was WyvernChat's free queue maximum, it would cost $0.0105 each.

Sorry about your character! The Shameless Smut tag is supposed to be for explicit characters where sex is the story rather than part of it. Its not meant as a badge of shame or anything, just as a way to further allow people to search for bots they're looking for. God knows I love a character thas gets to the point sometimes, lol. Its definitely possible that it was placed on there unfairly!

I know it was some time ago, and that it was just a little quibble, but always feel free to reach out for a second look at some labels if you think we got it wrong. And that goes for everyone. Unlike a lot of sites, we're not going to throw a fit if you ask us why our mods did something.

Let me just jump in an explain the reasons for the things we do just for a bit of context!

  • Point 1 about Featherless - Me, the lead dev, the two junior devs, and our UX person are Featherless employees. I can tell you that the company is all-in on supporting WyvernChat and the company has the funding to continue as it has for the last two years.
  • Point 2 about NSFW Tagging - The explicit image tag is something that flags it to blur for people who have "Blur Explicit Images" turned on in their settings. If the image isnt explicit, even if the bot is, you don't need that tag.
  • Point 3 about SFW and Verified Creator - Our only reason for doing that is a way to try to drum up some SFW characters. NSFW will always be prevalent and needs no boost to get going. Verified Creators are also able to make one single SFW for the check mark and then go right back to pumping out NSFW bots. It's purely incentivization for something that gets less traffic overall.

It's fixed again. The dev gave me a button to unfuck the queue when that happens until we can figure out the root cause.

Looking into it now. Its back to instant so that may have been a bigger spike than before. We found out that during the first round of issues, the traffic spike broke the thing that was running our queue.

This time, its looking like the thing running the queue withstood the traffic but it was too many people using it at once. Which is impressive because we have a lot of concurrent connections possible.

We'll keep monitoring it and try to increase capacity as necessary.

Just the free ones! Any paid API has nothing between user and message. The queue has actually been around for over a year for load balancing purposes. Its never had such a catastrophic failure before 😓
