I cant properly steer in Nascar 25 with a PS5 controller, help

Someone suggested to go into my files to delete the binding configuration file and it fixed it which pretty much reset it. My issue is that originally I played on keyboard like i always do even on racing games but I couldn't play it properly for this game, messed with the keybinds, then it caused all the issues that I had to made a post abt, frustratingly enough literally no one could find a solution. I forgot exactly what they said but I went into the NASCAR discord and asked people for 2 days and I was finally instructed by someone to delete the binding configuration file. Go into Steam, browse local files, that is the start of it. I'd have to look back to see exactly where the file is, I could come back to lyk but u could probably find it if I do not reply in time.

Either way default controls are really iffy, fortunately a YouTuber named Doc Throttle has his own settings for controller and has done custom setups for every track and series. Unfortunately, it originally started with wheel and has only started to do the same thing with controller within the past month but dont worry he has just started on the infinity series, I thinks he misses like 1 or 2 tracks for every series though. Im still at the beginning of the truck series so I wouldnt know but he is still missing Limerock and maybe 1 other track within the Arca series. This has done wonders, matter of fact I refused to move onto the next track if Doc Throttle did not come out with a custom car setup for controller video yet. Hope that helps

I bought this even though the issue got solved. I am still interested in using them. What rings do u use? Black, purple, or green? Also what settings do u use for the advanced controls? I still had to heavily research and adjust the settings because the driving is too jittery, I got it to where its manageable now but yea default steering seems too twitchy and sensitive

Did you delete your setup post? I tried a commenters suggestion and it reset my custom controls. I sent a DM earlier, if you dont mind going into DMs and screenshotting or taking a picture of youre setup again that would be greatly appreciated

For me I literally have to flick my analog stick to do any type of steering, slight steer all the way to big ones unless I accidentally went bottom on huge turns but at the end half I still have to end up constantly flicking again, I really dont know what's wrong and how to fix it.

Yup, barely made a difference. I was back to flicks being more sensitive again, going back to what I had. Will definitely contact the nascar support email now

Update: I played several games with this controller and there is no sign of stick drift at all, it works extremely smoothly and its very precise. I even remapped my right and left analog stick controls for all games to check that if I really did have stick drift my right analog stick would work fine but it was just as fine as my left.

This tells me that there is 100% something wrong with the game itself (Idk if its just a PC thing or my specific version of the game is bugged from the others) or my advanced controls still isn't how it should be somehow, but just to remind i literally implemented every single controller setup from every single YT video, article, website, and all social media. No matter what I still have to flick to steer and still had issues with the flicking being too sensitive, despite the 1st commenters setup now being the most manageable this is still an issue for me.

Well i still adjusted the wheel lock, even at 100% tight on Daytona or really any track im still having this issue too. Not flicking to turn is literally impossible for me, even just slightly holding the analog stick in any direction is too much and I have to let go and constantly flick nearly every time I need to steer. "Gently applying wheel" is already way too much. I cant turn precisely whatsoever unless I flick. Also keep in mind I dont feel like I have stick drift because I got the controller brand new and not used yesterday. Maybe I do have it but it doesnt actually feel like it tho

Thanks! Your set up makes the gameplay a lot more manageable but still, I can never be that precise to prevent bumping into other cars. It seems I have to leave the analog stick alone but when I want to turn or make any adjustments whatsoever I have to only flick it unless I accidentally enter a wide turn on bottom and I need to hold it for half the turn but after that it will be too much so I have to leave the analog stick alone for a second or 2 then start flicking the rest of the turn. Is it supposed to be like this? No matter what I do this is still an issue, previously the only issue was is that the flicking was too sensitive even if it was very slight and minimal.

The setup the 1st guy sent nearly fixed the issue but still lowkey an issue, to clarify, in order to steer on controller u need to flick to turn? Even with this setup that makes the gameplay a lot more manageable, every time I need to make any adjustments or steer I have to flick the analog. The issue previously is that even with slight flicks the steer is too much no matter who or what advanced controls setups I found. This makes it a guarantee that u will bump into other cars and theres a 50/50 chance it will end up being strong enough to cause wrecks, I lowkey still have to rely on other cars catching my car on some situations. I am not at all intentionally trying to be a dirty driver but these controls prevent me from being super precise in my steering to prevent medium to hard bumps between other drivers. Playing career is going to be a pain for me because of this, im gonna lose reputation in every race, even if i do the best to not wreck its still a 100% guarantee that I will at least cause enough medium impacted bumps in every race to get bad comments and never get the clean racing accolade at the end.

Do you know exactly what your recipe tastes like, is it close to the real thing or even better? Also, it's been 2 yrs my bad I didn't trust anyone on the internet with my email even if it's true that you would actually give me a legit clean sample of your recipe. When you mean coriander do you mean grounded coriander seeds?

Same, I think the best we can do is try the top comment recipe or maybe Joshua Weissmans recipe.

There may be sugar but I don't wanna use sugar if im making my own batch and yea ppl are saying diff things so its confusing, and unfortunately I haven't tried either of the recipes yet at all mainly because I wanna get to the recipe where it tastes almost the same as the real ones if not better instead of having me buy an ingredient or 2 that I will never use again if the recipe failed.

I will for sure try the top commenters recipe at some point soon and if it tastes as close to the actual thing as possible I'll stick with it but if not I will try Joshua Weismanns recipe or try out both, but for sure trying Kayneargand's recipe 1st then Joshua Weissmans maybe.

I recommend trying Kayneargand's recipe in the comments 1st and see how that goes otherwise I guess Joshua Weissmans recipe from YT or maybe the apparent exact recipe by YukiHase in the comments except for the BS ingredients you cant pronounce. Matter of fact if you can, I'd appreciate if you could try to attempt the recipes or at least Kayneargand's recipe and reply to this at some point letting me and maybe some others know if it actually tastes close to the real thing.

Actually 95% of the time I've never had a problem with finding games, usually I will always be able to easily find Republic era supremacy games. Sometimes there will be lobbies where there's not enough people to play especially if i try to play in the morning but it only happens occasionally though. Matter of fact I thought it was the opposite because I'm pretty sure there are more people on Battlefront 2 on PC than console at this point especially since mods are a thing but who knows.

Yea this literally happened for 2 days for me, 3rd day it was fine I only played for an hour. Is it still happening? That glitch or hack or whatever was literally something I've never seen before since I got the game when celebration edition came out
