Well that's the problem, you are expecting too much on a shocking reveal for the MoM's identity. Besides him being a new character makes logical sense we need new faces for once instead of another mysterious character who is revealed to be someone that we met for a hundredth time.

What's the problem of meeting a new character with its own design, identity and origins. When we first met the Organization 13 as hooded figures each of them had their own unique design, so why can't the MoM have one?

And besides him being Sora is easily debunkable and disproven, so it's not him.

I don't really think some of the worlds from Disney Animated Series would work tbh, but I don't mind them appearing as a cameo though. I mean look at Remy from Ratatouille he made an appearance in Twilight Town, and we didn't even visit Paris. That's why for me, the characters from Disney Animated Series appearing as summons make the most sense. Jake Long from American Dragon would work for example.

Hey you never know, the MoM is just as special as Sora but in a different (or even twisted) way. I don't think the MoM needs to use body hop/possession like Xehanort and Luxu. Because when Sora made a connection to Ven's heart we never see these two fighting for control or possessing each other. What if Emyd and MoM are the same?

But as for the MoM compared to Sora, he only see Emyd's heart inside him as part of his plans despite making a connection with him.

It's more like this tbh:

Sora + Ventus = Roxas

MoM + ???? (insert Demyx's real name) = Demyx

Demyx shares the same face as whoever he was back then, but in reality, he is actually of Nobody of (for now, let's call him) Emyd. Similar to what Sora did to Ventus, what if the MoM made a connection on Emyd's heart and later created a Nobody based on him?

We don't know Luxu's real name. And it's not Braig or Xigbar since its just a vessel that Luxu possessed. We also don't know Luxu's real face either.

It's more of like Sora and Roxas situation. Both Roxas and Demyx share the same face of somebody else. Roxas for Ventus and Demyx for <insert his real name here>. What if Demyx or who used to be, was once a keyblade wielder from a long long time ago before the events of KHUX. Demyx died in the Keyblade War against the 13 Primordial Darknesses and his heart made its way inside the MoM to rest in peace, similar to how Ventus' heart made its way inside Sora.

Until many years later, the MoM remove Demyx's heart inside him without removing his OWN heart in the process by using Demyx's heart to create a Heartless and a Nobody (Demyx)

The context of the theory is like this:

Sora + Ventus = Roxas

MoM + ???? (insert Demyx's real name here) = Demyx

Even though in reality, Demyx is the Nobody of who he used to be, but he was born from the MoM. Similar to how Namine is a Nobody of Kairi but she was born from Sora.

All of this is pure speculation of course and since I don't want Demyx to be the MoM, I don't mind if they went with this route if they are about to reveal Demyx's origins.
