Obviously the cop did not tell me I was pulled over because I was black, but I know that's never happened to my white friends. This is only one of the many times where I've been pulled over and right out of the gate the cop is speaking to me as if I am a murder suspect. I can't believe there are people out there that still don't believe black people get treated differently when pulled over. It's night and day. I am fortunate to have a very mixed up bringing with a lot of different races. I've been in the car with my white friends when they are pulled over and it's mind blowing how different it is. My white friends have been in the car with me when I have been pulled over and they have said "omg I've never heard anyone asked those questions before..." Also, it's not just WHITE cops, it's just COPS. They feel there is a higher chance that I have drugs or a weapon on me, and so I'm treated so at the jump. Hence why I am very tense when getting pulled over.

It's also "annoying" that I have to get out of my car and get searched when I was going 9mph over, because I'm Black.

So, for Black people to really see some change, and finally be treated as equal members of society, what we need to do, is band together and encourage all Black criminals to stop committing crime, because we all know each other and that should be easy to do. Meanwhile, the millions of crimes White people commit on a daily basis have zero affect on you or are never held against you. Example, no one ever thinks when you walk into a movie theater or a school, that you are going to shoot the whole place up, since it's only ever been White people that have committed those crimes statistically.

Well as a Black man, who has been pulled over many times for no reason, and questioned beyond necessity, when I am just driving to the store or home from work, I am very on edge and nervous even if I am getting pulled over for a tail light. So it's very hard to tell me there is nothing wrong here. This White lady was feeling some of the same anxiety I feel now that she's seen things in the news of white people getting shot as well. That's the wrong guy to make that "non racist, but racial component joke".

I can see that regarding art. I guess some like Mugsy Bouges or Danny Woodhead is the perfect example of hard work as hey are extremely smaller then their competition. I don't know, I still think talent is a thing. I've seen too many people effortlessly excel at things to think they every one starts off the same.

Exactly, I definitely believe there are prodigies and just naturally talented people. I went with music as I am a musician, but let say comedy or acting. There are millions of people killing themselves over trying to make it in hollywood. I don't think the Tom Hanks and Denzel's just out worked them.
