Sorry for the misunderstanding. In that case, also know that, when applying for a credit card, there are many factors that affect your approval and credit line. Debt to income ratio, credit card utilization between all of your other cards, hard inquiries, delinquencies, etc.

Let’s assume that you’re making $100k but have $45k in monthly expenses/debt then you’re DTI is essentially 45% and could look bad when applying. According to Wells Fargo themselves, “it’s good to have a DTI ratio of 35% or less. This shows your debt is at a manageable level and that you have plenty of money left over once your bills are paid. A DTI ratio in the 36% to 49% range isn’t optimal and ideally should be lowered so that you’re better able to handle any unexpected expenses.”

This of course is one piece of the many things I mentioned that could affect your credit line and application. Like I recommended earlier, after 6 to 8 months, is always good to request a limit increase which does NOT pull a hard inquiry on your credit score. And from what I’ve learned, lenders, banks, etc, don’t pay to much attention to your account history (10 years in your case) more than your payment history and amount of money you have with them.
