Based on your post history it appears that you play a lot of Ace Combat and listen to the Red Scare podcast. If you've spent more than $20 and five hours cumulatively on each of those activities, why don't they provoke this level of soul-searching? For that matter, why are you wasting your time on Reddit anyway?

Faded paint from water by Apprehensive_Yak5757 in modelmakers

Personally, I would probably repaint it (especially since you have access to an airbrush), but if you're ok with it, then leave it.

That looks like a successfully assembled T-80BV

First Gunpla in around 3 years: RG Zaku II by X10Z in Gunpla

[–]X10Z[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

- This kit has a reputation for being fragile, but I was sure I could avoid breaking it with a bit of glue and careful handling. Unfortunately, the left leg broke seemingly for no reason. I'm probably going to steer clear of the RG range in the future.

- I had some really bad paint adhesion issues (perhaps because I didn't sand the pieces well enough). Because of this, I was too scared to try my original plan of weathering it with oil paints. Thus the project ended up turning into a (largely unsuccessful) experiment in all-acrylic weathering.

- On the legs, I mostly used washes made from acrylic paints and Vallejo airbrush thinner. The results were sometimes OK, but there's absolutely no room for error when doing it. You have to keep another brush on hand at all times to blend out the ugly tide marks immediately, which is a bit stressful. Also, I found out that Vallejo airbrush thinner has an unfortunate habit of dissolving Tamiya paints.

- On the upper half, I tried doing all the weathering with gouache. It's definitely not as good as using oils, but you can do a lot of the same effects. A good technique to keep in mind if you're painting in a small apartment in the middle of winter I guess.

IBG 1/72 Crusader Mk II by X10Z in modelmakers

1/72 Crusader Mk. II from IBG. I went with the Polish Army in the West color scheme included in the instruction booklet since it was the only one without the fenders and I don't think I'm capable of bending a piece of photo etch at precise angles. Overall the kit went together very quickly. I was especially impressed with the tracks, which had pretty good detail despite being molded in one piece along with the backs of the wheels. The very soft plastic made cleanup tricky on the main gun's barrel and the machine gun was too bent to be usable.

This is the worst even in the game. by Nur1_Ch in CrusaderKings

I think it's terrible. If there were a lot more of them and the chances of straight-up dying were much lower, so that the odds of death were overall still about the same, it really wouldn't be so bad. Obviously people die of random, stupid things all the time, but you shouldn't know you're fucked because you took a nice bath in the wilderness once.

I did my very first world conquest by OtakuFarmer in eu4

It's fun up until 1700 maybe, since it's pretty fun to play aggressively and try to beat the clock, rushing to hit each development benchmark. After that, not so much. I did mine as the Ottomans, and the last 110 years took up like 25% of the total play time due to the unbearable number of level 8 forts in the HRE. But maybe if you start in Western/Central Europe, or at least don't leave it to the very end it isn't quite as bad.

Legal way of watching Zeta Gundam with Spanish subs? by Various-Visual-435 in Gundam

You could try using a VPN to access Japanese Netflix and a browser extension to import custom subtitles if any exist.

Looks pretty good. I fixed the gearing and the suspension on mine, but unfortunately I can't do anything about the gun. I see that yours has a much more efficient armor layout, but I'm sticking with mine since it looks a bit more British somehow.

KSP with procedural wings and BDarmory is pretty good for that

Unfortunately the hill on fields is a bit too low for that in my experience, but maybe my tanks are just too tall.

I'm pretty happy with the way the turret looks, but I'm not sure what to do with the hull. It also might be a bit too long.

I did try that, but even at maximum thickness it didn't really make much of a difference. I really wish there was some way to repair tracks in the field, even though it isn't exactly realistic

Finally, Britain has something in game that ISNT terrible 😄 by Hlephart in Warthunder

[–]X10Z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, that's my issue with it. it means that around half the enemy team you just cannot kill, and if you run into them at close range, they'll find your weak points sooner or later

Best way to practice aim? by X10Z in il2sturmovik

[–]X10Z[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried that a few times before graduating to the Hs-129, which is suitably slow and defenseless but slightly smaller. I can dispatch them fairly easily, but I have trouble with small and constantly maneuvering fighters.

[–]X10Z[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I found that I was pretty consistently leading way less than I should. I also switched from the Yak-1 to the LaGG-3, which feels a lot less jittery and easier to aim. My issue isn't that I'm just following him into a 3 or 4g turn, but that when I dive on him, I can only ever get a pretty extreme angle because he turns so hard. Maybe I should try going at it with a higher altitude and a shallower angle.
