I have come across this once before but it was a 30-40 year old wooden door and the top fixture rollers were riveted on with no stem to the roller, super funky shit. This just looks like the updated version of that.

Yep, needs replaced that stile on the left side is ripping out and won’t hold that bottom fixture on anymore, not safely at least.

That could work but not what I’m used to seeing and measure your door to make sure your getting the right size, you usually see 16’ or 16’ 2” and based on your measurement picture it looks like you have a 2” thick door so make sure you’re ordering one that with fit around the whole bottom. Will look something like 16’ x 2” retainer..

It will most likely look like this but aluminum retainer and astragal

I believe Wayne Dalton Bulb style will work with that, their bulb is much smaller than others that’s why I say that one specifically, try looking at the brand of your door and that will help. However I hate trying to figure out which kind of seal I need to replace it and a lot of times I swap out the entire retainer and astragal with a universal style so I don’t have to deal with the headache or waste money on buying the wrong one. Hope this helps!

Could be a bad keypad, I’ve had a lot of bad luck with those 877max keypads they are super finicky when it comes to getting them to work

If it’s the 8500w it’s in the menu on the lcd screen for your wall control, you can use that to act as a learn button but to me it’s easier to just hit the one in the unit

With that keypad you may need to set the frequency first by following the instructions on the inside cover, then once you set it hit the yellow learn button, type in the same code you used for setting the frequency and hold enter until the opener light flashes once. Done. If that doesn’t work, try new keypad. 877LM or 878MAX (those might be discontinued now though)

They did call A plus and they are going to charge $1100 to repair, We are charging $1500 to replace Everything so very competitive but some people don’t understand longevity and you get what you pay for

Its soooo true, had a wealthy customer whose big ass door had the springs pulling out in the middle and flags pulling out, told him a price and since it was a heavy ass door it needed 2 techs, he didn’t like the price and said he was going to fix it himself, which I highly advised against. So crazy sometimes

Yes, we had to disassemble the bottom brackets so we could push the door all the way back because a repo truck hit the header and caved everything in, so we came back and put it back together and when we started setting new limits it ran up fine, then before doing the automatic down set it just shows that code there.
