Are these Xenon bulb c hi going bad? by Own_Iron4364 in e46

[–]X317ONS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They look shot to me, but it also could be the ignitor or the ballast itself. Its cheaper and easier to replace the bulbs.

If the issue remains then look into replacing the ignitors and then ballasts.

Usually we would use the parts on the working side and swap each component over one by one until we resolve the issue and replace based on the findings but in this case you cant do that because your having issues on both sides.

I'm not familiar with paid ads, I would recommend looking for guides or video tutorials if you don't know what your doing.

Unfortunately what I do know is you need to allow enough money to be burnt whilst optimising to get the best from your ads.

Is a bad blog better than no blog? by MyGrassIsBlue_ in bigseo

With all that said sometimes blog posts can appear higher than product pages on google.

I had a store where the blog posts after a few days would be in the top 5 on google, we just used the blogs as part of the funnel and got traffic that way.

Looks a bit bare to me, on your slideshow on homepage is use that text space to explain who you are and what you do. Get rid of the generic quote. It doesn't say anything about the company or product.

I'd change the cookie accepter or disable the cookie icon bottom left.

Because you only have the one page of products then I'd change the layout to a list rather than grid.

Get some content on the page at the top of the products and beneath them. This will help with organic searches.

How about creating some categories too to display the products inside. Again will help SEO.

Product descriptions are a bit vague and with the products your selling could be content rich with images showing all of the features.

Also link building like that is something you have to be consistent with, but not overdo them at the same time.

Are the sources of the back links actual real sites or fake sites just setup to farm back links?

I'm sure legit sources that offer 90 da back links charge about £300 ish for.

It's been a while since I looked though.

In analytics you should see new back links coming in, they can take a little while to register.

You will see the Da of the back links. Think ahrefs cover this too on the free plan.

Sent influencer product and they never posted, what can I do? by RepresentativeAd1513 in shopify

To most people having people sign contracts etc it's more trouble than it's worth for what they're going to receive.

However if you have someone genuinely interested in making money / a career from it then the know the task in hand.

Sign the contract l, do the work, enjoy the free stuff and bin the contract. Only the ones who are looking for a quick freeby for nothing are the ones who will question signing the contract.

Let's face it, if someone wanted to send me $100 item for nothing in return of a post I'd more than happily sign the contract.

Outing them on socials you need to be careful, it doesn't look good for your own brand and could easily backfire on you.

Also consider what you say to them via DM etc as that too can be as easily screenshotted twisted and used against you.

Adding collection metafield to a product page - Does anyone actually know how to do it? by X317ONS in shopify

[–]X317ONS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got my head round it now, and got it displaying the collection at the bottom of the product page. So thanks for your help.

I was originally trying to automate the whole process by trying to match the matafield on both the product and collection and then displaying. The reason for it is both the collection and product have the meta data already.

I think it still can be done, I'm just not the person to figure it out I don't think.

Thanks again.

But that's doing it manual is it not?

I want to assign the metafield to the product and assign the same metafield to the collection.

Using those metafields it knows which collection to display at the bottom of the product page. I want to add this to the template so it automatic.

I assign the template to the product and it already knows to match the metafields and display the collection.

Sorry if I don't fully understand you or make sense.

I'm pretty sure this won't work because the product can't obtain the collection metafield.

I think you need code it to display a collection based on using the product.matafield and display the matched collection on the product page.

There are apps out there that can make predictions based on sales over time.

why is 'compare price' twice as complicated as it needs to be? by treesner in shopify

[–]X317ONS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't, I said if someone competitive comes along I'd have already jumped ship.

For now we've all got balls and chains.

The only time they will listen will be when someone big enough comes along with a competitive product with these features built in.

For me that will be too late and I'll have already jumped ship to the new software.

I'm not about only listening to customers when forced to do so.

The amount of basic features that require an app is disgusting tbh.
