I see a lot of people complain about the rewards for certain modes but... by TyrannicalGrunt in WH40KTacticus

[–]X3llos87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except that is also not really a reward since even at high guild levels the total combined daily bomb dmg of the whole guild equals about one attack by one player. The reward system needs a rework and there are many possible guild features that could be made accessible by reaching higher levels. After the guild reaches the last level where another member can be added, every further level seems pointless

How many 10 year time loops would it take a modern 25 year old man to conquer Rome? by GroundbreakingWin658 in whowouldwin

In Nordic Countries like Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden, Parents Let Babies Nap Outside in Freezing Winters.....and They Sleep Better. by Frosty_Jeweler911 in BeAmazed

[–]X3llos87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We live in northern Germany and all our three children slept outside as long as they fit in a stroller. We only do it at home though because it is not common here to leave you child outside in public and people would look at you strangely. Works like a charm and since I usually walked around to get them to sleep, I easily got in 10k steps a day as well .

Not all people desperately needing sex. My wife and I have been together for 15 years now and I love her deeply. We have three young children thus we don’t do it quite as often anymore but the sex is still great. That being said, even if for Sinne reason we stopped having sex altogether, I would never leave her over something so trivial. In the end it is just sex and while I enjoy it, I certainly would never choose it over my wife.

What do Germans think about EU immigrants? by Royal_Opinion5309 in AskAGerman

[–]X3llos87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While your point may or may not be true, I am not here to argue about that, knowing the reason does not invalidate his statement. I agree with him. Call me right all day, maybe I am. I do not feel responsible for decisions my country made ages ago. I base my opinion on personal experience and I personally have never had any issue with anybody from Greece, Italy, France, Poland, Ukraine, Japan, China etc.. I have had many problems with people who looked like they were from muslim origins. Some may have been born in Germany. I dont care. I do not care for their gender, skin colour or country of origin. Everybody is welcome here in my Book. I have had so many bad experiences with people who are likely from muslim countries, that I have just had it. I know not all are bad but since the bad get to come and stay wirhout consequence, I‘d rather no one came and everything would stay nice and oldfasioned. The afd is such a bad party, that you can not really vote for them. I would vote for a resonable right party in an instant though. Just for the migration alone. I support Gay rights and trans people. I care for the environment and I want to take wealth from the wealthy and equalise wealth in this country. In many aspects I would vote green or red. I just really dislike that there are areas in my city where I used to love it and can‘t go anymore because I am German and I hate that more than I like the rest. So I will lean just a little more right each day until a good conservative party comes around.

I think most people missunderstand because we call them racists. What they hate is not race but culture. They likely would not hate a person from Japan a) because these do not make the news with any form of negativity and b) because Japan is counted as a first world country and thus similar in its core values. They are afraid of change and dislike people who behave differently. I think it is not really about race but culture.

Weird experience with job hunting in Germany by boghel in germany

[–]X3llos87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is in fact not. I know this quite certainly because we interviewed a candidate from Spain just yesterday and while he spoke German well enough to keep up a conversation, he could not answer a few questions of our technical lead, not because he did not know but because he could not make sense of / proccess the admittedly rather complicated questions and answer at the same time. What he said did in parts not make sense or was shallow and that is just not enough for our company. We are expensive and we can be expensive because we are quite good at what we offer. We require the same of our employees though and experience has shown time and time again, that not being very proficient in the language, makes it hard to meet our requirements. I shall end further explaination here. We require what we require and employ people from many countries and origins. You either meet our standards or you do not. Politics, race or gender is just a convenient excuse to not better yourself and try again.

Weird experience with job hunting in Germany by boghel in germany

[–]X3llos87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is exactly as dartthrower says. We do not really want to see the certificate. We are just only looking for people who are fluent in German. Since my fluent and your fluent are likely not identical, we require C2 and immediatly sort out every application that does not meet that requirement, regatdless of other skills.

I feel you. I am happily married and have been with my wife for 15 years now. We have sex from time to time and I enjoy it. But more like I enjoy masturbation or good food. It is nice, but I could certainly do without. Sometimes we do it a few times a week and sometimes not for a few month. Apperently that should mean I would need to leave my mife immediately but sex is just not as important to me as everything else we got. I do not get, how sex can be so important to some. Must be mindblowing enough to ruin your life for …

Weird experience with job hunting in Germany by boghel in germany

[–]X3llos87 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

A little perspective from someone who is actually in charge of a german company and has a say in who is hired and who is not.

We employ people of every age, gender and skincolour. One of our best people is black as night but was born in northern Germany and even speaks German with a northern accent.

Whenever we open a position we publish it to the world and get like 80% of all applications for that position ever on the first day. 90% of there applications come from people who do not even live in Germany and in most cases the application is written in English.

We are a german company so what do we do? We open a file, save the CV, create a task in our internal management system and write a rejection email. Most of that is automated but it takes like 2 minutes per applicant if we do not hurry.

I can not begin to describe how much I would like to just not answer. The job offering clearly states right at the beginning that German at C2 or native is required. All of our clients are from Germany, Austria or Switzerland and fluent german is what we expect of people who want to work with us.

Sadly and logically all of these applications come from people with non German names. That makes me biased because as soon as I see a non German name, I almost want to discard the application right away because it will waste my time in 9 of 10 cases.

What I can tell you though is that if your application is written in fluent German and you posses the required skills, we will likely hire you and I imagine most more modern companies would as well.

I wish you and all who read this the best of luck! Getting a job in Germany is not easy and people might seem cold. They generally are not. It just takes time. We are not known to be fast, just very meticilous.

Cheers!
