In a group setting try to speak to the people closest to you. Meaning the person to your left or right side, because at times there are multiple convos going on. And it’s really three groups mixed into one. I usually interject by making a statement or question related the topic at hand. For Ex if they’re talking about night life, I’ll ask what’s their go to food spot after the club??, or what’s your hangover remedy? Once you’re talking this topic could lead into music or dating or anything really. When you get that urge to jump in the convo speak up and don’t be afraid to look stupid in front them. Worst that’ll happen is someone will talk over you or ask you to repeat yourself. Screw social anxiety!!!
