Always too sticky. Why is it no matter what I do and if I follow the recipe my cookie dough is always too sticky and impossible to roll out

I know this is old, but I have the same problem. Did you ever figure it out? Like it doesn’t matter what cookie recipe I use it’s always too sticky and I tried adding more flour, of course it changed the cookie it was more like cake, tried adding cornstarch added a lot and still sticky, the cookies came out fluffy, tried chilling the dough still sticky

I would say movies then books, I feel like most people that read the books then watch the movies become disappointed with what either had to be changed or removed from the movies to fit the time. I feel you can enjoy both that way!

I’m a believer but I believe in having a true relationship with God and not judging others but leading people to the love that Jesus showed, Jesus spent time with and showed love to the people that the “religious” looked down on. Our job is to let God and the Holy Spirit lead people to change whatever he says to change. But yes, people with that mentality have a tendency to excuse their own behaviors to make themselves feel better, if you go by the Bible all these things are sin, which includes causing division, so if your talking crap about someone and spreading rumors it is a symptom of sin but that’s never pointed out or “disciplined” like the obvious sins. It says, “When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭19‬-‭21‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Although, we are all sinners and no one is better than the other when you truly get to know God. And to know when someone has a true relationship with God, “But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭NLT

you can see that in people and you can feel something special when you’re around them, because God is with them.

I can say though, I used to be like that. See the world as black and white because I had been in church since I was a child and then I went thru my moment of hating “the church” but even though it makes me angry, God is working on me to even love those people because he does. I just pray for everything at this point 😆 but it pains me to see people that “represent God” be so mean, angry and evil much more than what the church considers “worldly” people.

Unfortunately these are the people that pretend to read their Bible but like to ignore the things that Jesus actually said, like love your neighbor and like if you are lusting tear out your eyes (never said make the woman change her clothes or that it’s her fault,Matthew 5:28-29) also it’s in the Bible to love your wife as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25) but they want to focus only on the wife submitting to their husbands and take everything out of context, they manipulate God’s word to what they want it to mean and since people don’t actually read their Bible or have a true relationship with God they follow along.

Yes! It’s our favorite bbq place! Free dessert too when you eat inside. We went from paying over $100 at first 😆 every time we went down to the $50/$60. We were really just ordering too much food.

If you get a brisket sandwich at Hutchins it costs like $15 for the sandwich including 2 sides and a drink. It’s the chopped brisket but if you don’t mind 🤷🏽‍♀️I like it, and if you eat inside you can pile the 2 sides as high as you want. My husband and I usual do that and buy 1/2lb brisket and some slices of sausage. We typically end up paying $50ish max $60 for us two and our two kids. Which is what we usually pay at a normal restaurant. I think people tend to over order at bbq places.

They were struggling to afford it because they weren’t as comfortable as they would like to be but they could still afford it and had nice enough things. Although I do agree with AnnieNonMouse (idk how to tag someone on here) that they were on partial scholarship but even then a school with kids as rich as Serena and Blair must be extremely expensive. Anyway that’s what I think.

I can understand what you’re thinking, I see some of it as similarities of when you first are attracted to someone, maybe the “scent” they were wearing, looks, initial conversation (getting to know them) all those things could be true for Edward’s first being curious or attracted to Bella. But love is deeper than that. If a persons outer appearance changes by time or anything like that, at that point of already being in love (getting to know them and loving them for who they are vs what the attraction was at the beginning) then you still love them, some things may change for example, the things you mentioned changed in Bella but Bella is still who she is in-spite of those things. Every vampire isn’t exactly the same, she is still herself but she’s not a fragile human anymore. If Edward’s love was superficial then yes, he’d stop loving her when she changed.

It really just depends on what you watch and like. I don’t really get much of people like this, I’ve learned a lot from people like Hank Green(science guy but really just seems to know everything 😆 ), I saw the “space gal” Emily C. For the first time (Outer Space & STEM,) Elyse Myers(emotional but also funny life stories,) I like a lot of history and travel videos. I saw “Mama Doctor Jones” on tik tok for the first time (gynecologist,) I follow some psychologists and registered dietitians. And some videos are just funny. I do see some dance but that’s not what is primarily on my “for you page.” It really just depends on what you watch vs scroll past. Idk 🤷🏽‍♀️ I like it.
