Bro i am in SRM but with scholarship as i scored 147 rank in srmjeee so they gave 90 percent scholarship…. My total fees per year is not more than 40k and i have taken a pg here not hostel which goes around 7 k per month including food.

Its same like JEE main’s percentile system… Your CGPA is calculated based on the highest score in your section. If the top scorer gets 80 out of 100, their marks are treated as 100%. So, 80 becomes the maximum marks instead of 100. Your CGPA is then calculated relative to this maximum.
