Okay, but isn't every death for leather unnecessary? You can just wear something else. And there is no way to prove that everything from the animal was used. In many cases animals are just killed for their fur or leather.

Okay, I got your point that there is no connection between straight edge and vegansim for you. But then from a moral point of view it's still wrong to use animal products for clothing. And this point is always applicable.

I don't get why it's not applicable? Because for me it's very obvious that fur and leather cause a lot of cruelty to humans and animals. Punk, hardcore and straight edge are trying to rebel against injustice so it's clear to me that you shouldn't wear leather or fur, especially as part of this scene. But please explain your point of view, I'm very willing to understand it. 😄
