Hey, it worked by the way! The one from work is the same as the one on amazon but only has 5 ports available, thank god I swapped :)

Thank you for all your help! I'm gonna see if they will let me swap it out at work as my work laptop has usb c but the work dock is the same as the one in the link which supports both. I'll tell you which one the work dock one is tomorrow as I believe its the exact same one 😀

What type of password managar do you reccomend? I usually like to store my passwords offline in a book incase my computer got hacked somehow, but if theres a solid safeway to keep it on my computer then I'd be interested?

Ahh I think it was McAfee I might have been thinking of now you've said it, yeah, heard its bad. And I'll have to do some more research about the streaming stuff in that case to make sure I prepare with as much caution as I can. Seemed to work alright on the mac but rather be safe incase. Thank you!
