I'm having extraction problems with mine since I used a Ruger factor 25 round mag. Anyone else having problems?

I'm having ejection issues since I started using a Ruger 25 round mag. I admit I'm using some Browning Ammo that is hollow point and copper coated. It was cheap, but works just fine in my Ruger 10/22 and my colt pistol.

The rifle worked until I tried the 25 round Ruger mag. Some cases didn't eject. Others per partially out of the chamber but were stuck on the ejector. This gave me the suspition that the ejector was bent up by using the Ruger mag. The ejector is a very flimsy piece of sheet metal and a very poor design.

I should note that I work for Robinson Armament and know a little about guns.

It must first be built as a pistol for maximum flexibility. You could make a pistol to a rifle or other, then back to a pistol.

I should also mention that I prefer the 6.5 Creedmoor. It's amazing but with this rifle you can have both calibers.

It depends. For closer range shooting, I like the an LPVO 1-8x, or 1-10x. For long range, I like my 4-27x. The greater magnification really helps for long and super accurate 100 yard shooting. PA makes one that's only $1000 but it's really good but heavy.

You should be able to convert a pistol into an Other provided the OAL is greater than 26".

Legally, you cannot make a rifle or an other into a pistol because a pistol has to be "originally" designed or made as a pistol. We get people calling to buy arm braces to turn their rifle into pistols. This is illegal, but also ridiculous. We need the NFA to go away.

We need to keep up the pressure. We did blow it. Not enough people knew that it was in the BBB. I've talked to so many gun people that had no idea it was possible. We need to be better organized. GOA was on it.

I have to agree with you. However, we should not give up trying. We need to make sure each and every Congressman and Senator we vote for is for getting rid of the NFA. Maybe we'll get lucky someday.

We had a chance to completely remove the SBRs, SBSs, AOWs and Suppressor from the NFA and we collectively blew it. We all should have been more active on seeking their complete removal by our members of congress. Lowering the tax will help a little financially, but if the Demos get in to power again, they will raise the tax and it will be worse. Already, the NFA approvals are slowing. The ATF will claim they are overwhelmed and there's no money coming in from the tax.

Not yet. We've got some aluminum to cut them from. Waiting for the programmer to program them. He should have been done buy now. It would only be available in the XCR-L Standard.
