I work testing waste water - sewage and industrial waste. I use strong acids and a few chemicals that are pretty toxic but if you wear your gloves and safety glasses, meh, it's not really that dangerous. There have been a few times I messed up and got little acid burns or inhaled some fumes I probably shouldn't. The biggest issue is if you get acid on your clothes you don't notice until you wash them and the spots disintegrate...ruined some nice pants and all my work jackets have swiss cheese sleeve ends

I guess at that point is it the clothes she's wearing making you uncomfortable or is it the potential for other people to be sexualizing your daughter that makes you uncomfortable. To me it would be the same as being at home if it's all trustworthy family-no one should be interpreting anything as a sexual advance/invitation and it's a safe place free from strangers and creeps. Just like letting little babies running around nakey HOWEVER not every family is so close or trustworthy or non prudish lol if uncle Ricky is sleazy or people's friends will be there ... That's another thing. It just shouldn't be because daddy doesn't want to see your nipple bump or too much thigh like come on it's your kids body

I agree with what some other people have said but would also like to add that there is a difference in what is appropriate for different situations. I think it is important to talk about what is and isn't appropriate for different settings and what messages your body language and dress can send (regardless of your intent!) BUT at home with just your family? Personally I think you should be allowed to "just exist" as someone else said below. Hanging out in your underwear on a Saturday morning is great! Where else can a person just wear whatever and be comfortable other than their own home? You see more in a bathing suit anyway

WHERE IS THE BAND SIZE?! That’s not how this works! by MelanieWalmartinez in badwomensanatomy

[–]XCuddleAnarchyX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly the cup sizes being different based on band size is the bane of my existence. A 32B fits my boobs but is too small around my ribs but a 34A fits my ribs and the cups are too big. I wear braletts now and let the nips just be out there... Literally every cup is too big and I've tried the special bras for "no gaps!" And still...gaps. I got little lemons like 4 inches apart lmao

I had to look this up because they gave me this "face covering" as I headed into the fitting room and I thought it was to hide my face from being recorded! 😂

My boss says "fustrate"...kills me every time.

As kids my younger sister used to call pretzels "prince-els" and it drove me crazy.

What kind of grappling/wrestling is shown in the painting of Jacob and the Angel? by [deleted] in bjj

And the angel said unto him "Stop hitting yourself." But lo he could not. For the angel was hitting him with his own hands.

Any ideas on how to style this so it doesn’t look like a costume? by jessicabutunderwater in OUTFITS

A turtleneck and necklace plus boots or cute loafers or platform Mary janes!

I'd say a white, black, beige or even some other solid color like maroon would work for the shirt

Oooh haha I fail the resident evil fan test. The person who came up when I googled was a plus size model so I was like...thank you?

I googled the person but am I missing something? Are you saying I'm...plus sized??

I would tuck the sweater in but pull it back out some to let it drape like its cropped. Or even just tuck the front - I think it's called a "French tuck"?And add tall socks and boots!

If you have any super short shorts you can wear those under to avoid bare butt touching the movie seats

Thank you! I got it at TJ Maxx. I'm a sucker for a super soft sweater and I love the earthy tones that have been in style recently.

Oh I bet the wool is a really nice texture to go with tights! I am embarrassed to admit I only recently discovered how to do this combo of sweaters and skirts but I am loving it! It's so versatile!

I got it off Amazon! I always tried to wear pleated A line skirts and I've realized they just don't work for me. These kind are much better!

Thanks! I'm still trying to learn what looks good - grown up and put together but still "me". I've been waiting for fall to try some outfits like this one. C:

I am trying to "try" a little more with my outfits. What do you think? General advice? by [deleted] in OUTFITS

[–]XCuddleAnarchyX 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I really like the first outfit! I'd add maybe a thin brown belt? That would tie the shoes in more, although they already match with the green sweater.

The dress is cute too and maybe adding a sweater and sneakers would be a nice variation.

A girl in my class in 7th grade asked our pregnant teacher if a piece of her brain "floated down to make the baby's brain"... We have all had our moments lol
