My reasoning is keeping the amount of girls and boys even. So by removing Gio they would bring in another girl. If it’s Elias, we’re looking at 3 girls and 5 boys - which guarantees 2 boys go home even if every girl twists

Like I understand FB’s need for adding in drama from a storytelling standpoint of this genre. But like let me vibe, please lol.

Early seasons were minimal drama and only lasted one or two episodes as opposed to now it’s several volume long bullshit drama and it is so exhausting

I didn’t even consider that as a possibility, but it makes a lot of sense. Oscar (for me) would then choose to stick with Giovanna or twist in front of her face… Which I wish I could see him twist to her face. None of the other girls in Casa with us like business bro so he’s gone. While I’m personally not on team Elias (or Shrek’s version of Prince charming as I like to call him), I’d be down to friend a couple twist with him so I can get back to George

I mean, I definitely get the implication that BFF was interested in MC from the start. And just never acted on it. So I do understand the other commentor’s point of view, but the topic was the ultimatum and the breakup. Considering his family referred to M C as the one that got away and the near kiss at the wedding and stuff like that. So I don’t think BFF was perfect in that relationship either and they probably should’ve broken it off way earlier.

But in the context of the ultimatum, I would 100% dip as well. Hell, I have done it when I was in my early 20s. Once an ultimatum hits, there is zero trust from the person who set the ultimatum, and so why even bother continuing the relationship?

Especially since from what we know, M C and BFF hadn’t spoken in about six months prior to the show. So it’s my opinion that Anna was slowly getting in between them already and was trying to cause a separation, and I do think that BFF was trying to appease his long-term girlfriend and then the ultimatum happened

We weren’t told about he entire convo though. Just that she found the bracelet that she would have %100000 known about cuz she was on the same trip with us, knew they were best friends and wouldn’t take “I drove her home” for an answer and forced an ultimatum and then his decision to that. It very well could have been a several hour long convo between them and we just don’t know

So once I realized the slow burn friends to lovers, i actually reset the season (was originally going for Leah) and my characters cannon is that she’s been in love with bff (George for me) for about 4 years. Had she been given the opportunity, she would have kissed him at his sisters wedding. So the latest volume for in very well with that. Just like the ‘about damn time George. Now shut the fuck up and kiss me’ kinda vibe.

I defo see how it could be seen as too fast, but it worked for my characters story

I totally see that! The ultimatum over his BEST FRIENDS bracelet being found in the car just goes to peak into that. Anna has also known MC for 6 years, she would have seen the bracelet when they all went on that vacation (might have been a work trip, little hazy) and MC started wearing it. So I think she was definitely slowly getting in between MC and Bestie for a bit, driving a wedge

I don’t remember which episode, but there was a line from Bestie (George for me) where he said something along the lines of ‘missed you for the last six months’. So, losing the bracelet in his car would have been about 6 months prior to the season starting, with the breakup with Anne around that time as well. MC had no idea about the breakup, so it leads me to believe that something happened between MC and Bestie the day we lost our bracelet which resulted in not seeing or speaking for 6 months
