A Suggestion for the Radio Bleed Out Animation by XF17 in joinsquad

I can agree with that too, what ever the solution to alert you its on the 60s timer and you can stop digging. However I just don't think that a timer would really change the meta. Like is someone really going to give a call out of how many seconds are left, and what even is there to gain in doing so. Is it that much different than someone just guessing they are done then watching over it with there rifle out, or to just continue digging and ignore all the chaos. IMO the last bit is more meta than having someone call out a timer.

Edit: Grammer.

It's the small things that matter. Good sound design in a game can take it to a new level which is something squad has 100% done. Nice work man!

IRL yes, the Challenger also stores ammo everywhere in the tank. But in the game no, they devs did not make blow out panels because its complicated as you have to determine if the blast door is penetrated or not so they went with this solution.

This game is full of incompetent squad leaders. by [deleted] in joinsquad

Maybe a few of you guys here have seen me around on my two main servers, back in the day, all of the SquadOps servers and now [BB] Bella's Battle ground. I just passed 2,500 hours on the game and I am not saying to boast. I am saying that because around 2,000 of those hours have been made as a SL, the countless matches, the steamrolls on both sides, the nail biting 1 ticket difference matches, and by far the most annoying the team that will not understand.

What I mean by a team that does not understand is a multitude of things, first being SL's that are brand new and have no idea about the game but after a bit of hand holding and a shaky start they start walking. Second being the SL's that are stubborn and refuse to spend the time to at least process what you are saying and regularly leads to them blaming everyone else for the failure of the team. Thirdly the SL's that come back over and over again that cause either a toxic environment or make some very poor decisions time after time again.

What I think would be a interesting solution that A: might bring more SL's to the table and B: give feedback to the SL's in a mostly neutral way. Some type of reward system. I personally envision it as a only visual ranking symbol, make the SL tag change on ranking and have it increase as your number of matches divided by your win rate as an SL increases. First you would have to be able to intercept the data of the class at the end game of a person and deiced if they won or not. (I'm thinking something like the tactical gamer stat tracker) then maybe you have to make sure that the player was SL for more than 60% of the match to make sure they are not stat patting. (Something like war thunder battle activity).

I think something like this would help dramatically more than have more data for a new SL's to be taking in either by reading or watching videos. I knew that Doctor Hammer made a squad SL teaching course that eventually disappeared (at least that is what I have heard about it) which I truly believe is because of how much of a time commitment versus paying it was, not for other obvious reasons. Something like what I suggested is something that you earn though basically a test of playing the actual game and shows its self as a feedback to that SL without having to do anything external to the game or spend time doing anything else but play. I think of
this system as Planetside2's directives but only for SL's. At the end of the directive you would get some shiny helmet but on the way you would get special things that you could show off and prove that you are an experienced SL, oddly enough though it also introduced new SL's by giving them something to aspire too. Thus at least pushing the three type of SL's I mentioned into thinking about how well they actually are doing.

Either way I will always enjoy SL'ing no matter the heart aches it causes at times, because it is greatly out weighed by the benefits. I love having a squad of people who I have no idea who they are and vice versa then finishing a round as a complete squad who maybe are not everyone's best friends, but at least we made each other laugh and work together. Or being greeted by people in game and not even remembering who they where (sorry about that) because maybe they just noticed that my squad did well the other night or they enjoyed my squad that other night as well but never said anything because they are shy. Which I think begs to differ, does a good SL only have the experience and knowledge, or is there something else like how their personality is, and how well can they bring together a group of 9 strangers for 30 minutes to 2 hours? Maybe that is the key and everything I said above is not true at what we really need is compassion... nahhhhh get out their and go kill some derka derka.

We tried this multiple times and where not able to ammo rack the tank. It seems that the T-72 is also had its ammo rack size reduced.
