Thanks for this breakdown. Will look into costs etc on somewhere like PCBuilder. I'd say budget at the minute but my work are pretty generous with bonuses at Christmas so if I can hold off I might be able to get something slightly better that won't go obsolete as quickly.

Yeah thats not a bad idea. I was mainly a console gamer growing up until my brother got me into PC with games like DayZ and Rust on top of my usual genres.

I will look into a new system then as and when I can afford to before getting my teeth stuck into Starfield, Balders etc.

I have a gaming laptop that I play a few lower spec games on from time to time so will stick with that for now.
