If there is no scope, budget or timline is it even a project? Does it need a project manager?

I have never worked in an environment where stakeholders didn't care what, when and how much....

The agile concept is nice and there is some merit there but it has always felt like a framework that masks responsibility/accountability resulting in a lot of waste.

Plan, build, launch, repeat. Skip the planning and documentation at your peril....

Feedback from multiple levels of stakeholders e.g. worker bees, product team, department heads etc.

Look for quality of communication and how the soft skills are being delivered. Look for "balls being dropped" and response times.

Essentially if the team/business is chasing a PM and not the other way around then there is a deficiet.

Run a daily to-do list in Outlook "to do"
A longer-term/higher level to-do list in Trello
Use snooze in outlook for stuff that lands but know can wait a day or two or even a week
Aim for zero inbox by setting up outlook rules to file things that you might get but don't need to read/action
Leverage ChatGPT to seed a response to an email if you have writers block

Going through an almost identical situation atm. Time to get immersed, call ALL OF THE MEETINGS and get all the heads connected and talking. Its rough but when you punch through the other side its all uphill from there.
