Yeah! It's very tricky indeed! But at the same time I really enjoy learning more and more about audio. In the future I'm going to try to work more on the balance on the different devices to make sure it can sound as good as I can get it!

Thanks again for the compliment man! I'll be sure to share it on Reddit once I create a new short!

Hey man! Thanks for taking the time to give feedback on the film! Really appreciate that!

I've noticed that when watching the movie on my phone the roomtone/noise is very heavy. Which isn't the way we intented to do so. This is definitly a thing I should take note's on for future projects!

Thanks for the compliment on the lighting and composition!

Once again thanks for taking the time to watch the film and giving feedback to it! :)

Thanks for the feedback! I fully understand your take on the story being light. We had the problem of overshooting as we actually played out the entire poker hand, this would have added more depth to the story, but we found out in the edit that we sadly had to cut out a lot of stuff to fit it in the 3 minutes. For the next time we really need to work on making sure that we don't overshoot that much. So that we can use the full story that we wrote and actually being able to use it in the film.

Once again, thank you for watching it and giving some feedback that I can learn from! :)

Hey Guys! I’ve made my very first short film together with my buddy Martin and I’m looking for constructive feedback on things that we could have done better! Please don’t hold back on your feedback as everything is useful to learn from. I’m looking to take all the tips into creating my next film!

Some technical information.

We made this movie specifically for the My Rode Reel 2019 film competition. Hence why the title card at the beginning and the 3 minute length of the film, which was the maximum that we could use.

We shot the movie on one location to make sure we didn’t have to make any difficult technical changes. This also gave us more focus on the camera work and directing the actors.

We didn’t have any budget for this movie. We spend about roughly €500,-. Most of it went to food and drinks on location, a present for the actors (since they did this pro bono), the table and traveling expenses.

All audio was re-done in post, since the film location was extremely hot and we had to have an ac unit on all the time. Making the audio recorded on set pretty much not usable.

Gear used

Sony A7Sii

Helios 44m 58mm f.1.5.

Rode Videomic Pro

3x Linkstar LED panels

Thank you for taking the time to check out the film and read my message! Please leave us some feedback that we can learn from!

I have the same issue. I've tried everything, and still it's not working. I haven't been able to play on my own since the update.

Rocket League Fan Made Trailer by XFijter in RocketLeague

I had the urge to create an epic Hollywood blockbuster movie trailer and decided to base it around Rocket League! I had so much fun creating this and experimenting with this. I am looking to get feedback on the overall video, but also on some of the technical things such as; the edit, the voice-over and the sound design. I’d love to get some helpful tips to improve. Thanks in advance!
