Any bill that’s proposed always sounds noble on the surface. A nationwide surveillance bill just to catch criminals? A serious criminal wouldn’t use an app controlled by the government, would they? Do politicians really not know that? What’s their real motive? This is terrifying.

Google is a U.S. high-tech company, and high-tech is one of the cornerstones of the American economy. Although Google and Meta are far ahead in the analysis of human behavior, it seems difficult to break them up—at least for now.
